"theres things we didnt get done with justin on the field"- Lynn

Like what?? Score more than 13 points?? Control the ball on offense for huge chunks of the game? Or is it we didnt have a stagnant offense all game? What is it lynn?

everyone know Herbert played his ass off, and in no way is that game remotely close with tyrod starting, we only beat the bengals because they shanked a field goal, lynns acting like tyrod was out there being joe montana.

I was critical on the herbert pick, and i will continue to be, leaf looked good in his first 4 games, im not gonna count my chickens before the egg hatches, but damn you can easily see herbert is more gifted and the offense actually moves the ball.

This is so Cleveland Brownzie of 2018 Tyrod Taylor-Starter\ Baker Mayfield the up and coming rookie, Taylor got injured the 3rd game in and prior to that everyone was saying Mayfield should start, and Hue Jackson "Tyrod is our starter, Baker has done some nice things, but Tyrod is our starte", but Tyrod injury lingered and Mayfield show he was worthy of starting and Tyrod never started a game after that, and Hue Jackson got fired because of internal grumbling with the OC Jack Haley on play calling to make it to Mayfield strengths rollouts and open the field up and Hue wanted the offense to operate as if Tyrod was the starter

Coach Lynn could be on the verge of being former Charger head coach with his loyalty and questionable in game decisions. Yeah Herbert is a rookie and he is going to make mistakes but it is so obvious the talent and ability to make plays and the stage was not too big for him and for rookie QB with no pre-season games under him, he did things Tyrod can't do, 1. Ball placement in tight windows 2. He looks like he reads and processes faster than Tyrod. 3. Stronger arm and Stronger Body Herbert took out the KC Line Backer. 4. Herbert has tremendous upside, Tyrod is at his ceiling and it is low really low.

Coach Lynn better re-evaluate his thought process, probably the easiest thing that could happen is Tyrod is out again and Herbert lights up Carolina, putting the pressure on Lynn to re-evaulte his cloud prespective on Tyrod.

Well to be fair, Taylor had WAY more three and outs that Herbert had. Lynn seemed to really like those in week one.

Tyrod won't be 100% healthy by next week even if he's 100% healthy (wink, wink) this will give Herbert a confidance boosting easy win without the pressure of being QB1, if/when Herbert struggles Tyrod will regain his starting job..er...I mean, his health

Not true, until he had the reaction to the pain killer, he was set to go this week. He just has some sore ribs, he'll be ready and AL will start him. We won't like it but I bet he'll stick with Taylor.

If Taylor plays well, he will be vindicated but if he plays like he did in week one our HC will be in deep do-do.

Lynn already ran the best QB in Chargers history out of town. Now he's screwing over Herbert. At what point does Lynn run out of other people to blame for his poor coaching?

But hey, he's got his black QB, and that's all that matters in 2020.
