Maybe the condensed Off season has an impact, but we’re talking about a kid who has played a lot and also is very intelligent. I’m not saying he has to or needs to start Day 1, but if he doesn’t get 6-8 starts this season. Be a waste in my opinion.

We'll see how long Herbert sits. Depends on Tyrods play and how fast Herbert responds to coaching.
But, Lynn said in that video I posted the best guy will play but I don't assume Herbert will better Tyrod right away.

Love will sit in Green Bay for maybe 3 years even if he wasn't picked top 10.

Look at the above post, it’s definitely not hurting guys to get some starts under there belts? Do you think we’re a SB contender this season? I don’t, maybe WC team... but if JH can’t get 6-8 starts this season, it’s a waste to me. I don’t want him starting 2021 without real game time.

The idea of a set time table is ridiculous. He should play as soon as he is able, ie. fixed his mechanics, knows the play book and knows the blocking calls. I'd prefer that he get out there sooner than later, but it'll be up to him on how fast he can get to where he needs to be physically and mentally.

Mahomes played1 game as a rookie. Didn't hurt him a bit and likely helped him a lot.

I’d think he’d be capable of doing what 34 out of 39 have been able to do and get at least 6 starts. Do you fully expect him to be the starter in 2021? If so wouldn’t you like him to have some starts under his belt?

Think our D will be lights out. Protect the ball, force some turnovers and score in the red zone. Yeah, i think we can be a very good team this year.

So out of 39 guys you pulled Mahommes out? Laughable, a lot of quality guys started Day 1, secondly don’t think Herbert is Mahommes (but that’s a different conversation). I personally like the Jackson, Watson, Goff route with 6-7 starts.
