Parsons also has some coverage skills--5 pd's in his last full season, 2019. Plug him in at Mike and move Murray to Will...

I would be hard pressed to pass on Parsons if he was still sitting there when we drafted. A lot will depend on what we do with our resigning some of our linemen and what we do in FA. If we let all of our FA linemen walk and want to rebuild the line, taking the best available linemen at 13 would seem to make sense. Same thing with CB - if we cut Hayward and Davis leaves in free agency, we will be desperate for CB as nobody on the roster looks good enough to start.

I hope we can re-sign Davis...

If you look at the Chargers roster -and contracts - its why I kind of think Telesco needs to fill needs with BPA kind of secondary

Chris Harris and Hayward are FAs after this year
Bulaga - probably released next offseason if he has a 2021 like 2020
          Linval Joseph
Ingram gone, Owuso not doing to much

LT has a big hole anyway

So when I think about those first four rounds and the five picks - there is a reason my mantra is: OL, Edge, CB, IOL, and IDL - its because they will all be needs in a year if not this year. Get those young players on the roster this year when you have some veterans this year. Give them a year to mature.

So Parsons at 13 makes sense. An OT at 13 makes sense, same with CB. I get the allure of Pitts or Waddle but I see other bigger needs.

            Alex Leatherwood has long arms.
            Dillon Radunz has short arms.
Ade Ogundeji has very long arms.

Cant draft for PON over BPA that we can also use. We arent getting Sewell or possibly Slater so what difference does it make if we draft Parsons?
Are you saying you would use a first round #13 on Eichenberg and pass on Parsons?

                      That wouldnt be smart imo.

Hamilcar came in at 254, good for him. Rhamondre Stevenson at 227 lbs. Thats good as well instead of going the other way. Good weight for him.
