2021 Draft Discussion - Bolts Pick 13th

Cant draft for PON over BPA that we can also use. We arent getting Sewell or possibly Slater so what difference does it make if we draft Parsons?
Are you saying you would use a first round #13 on Eichenberg and pass on Parsons?

That wouldnt be smart imo.

Nope. Im targeting one of the top 3 OTs at pick 13. Im not going car shopping for an F250 to keep my business operating efficiently and coming home with a corvette because its more fun.

My fear is that there’s an early run on OTs over receivers because it happens all the time in the draft.

Build the lines first, the have fun with all the accessories.

What do you do if Gregory Rousseau (Edge), Alijah Vera-t. (OT) and Patrick Surtain (CB) are all there at 13 ?

I'd have Slater ahead of Parsons. Parsons ahead of AVT. AVT ahead of Eichenberg. But I'd be okay with taking AVT at #13. Not okay with taking Eichenberg at #13.

Robert Rochell’s week at the senior bowl will be huge factor if he goes day 2 or day 3.

I'd go Surtain, then AVT, then Rousseau.

I hope the Bolts are not unlucky enough to end up with Parsons. Somebody take him early, please.

My top priority for this team is getting a quality LT. That said, I’ll be happy with Parsons. I think he’s special. I saw a draft rundown on PFF where they went through the top at each position. They had Parsons as easily the best LB. But then they said that if he was a better edge rusher than any of the actual edge rushers in the draft. If we got him in round one and a second tier guy in round 2 I’d be fine with that. If Slater and Parsons are on the board, I’d probably vote for Slater, but it would be close.

My thought is that if Parsons is on the board, then there was a run on receivers or OTs early. Hopefully not the OTs though.
