Because he played exceptionally well the last half of his rookie season before the early season injury in his 2nd season.
I don’t think anyone has compared him to 55 or made any reference to him playing like an all-pro.

There are rumors out there Parsons was involved in that bulling/hazing incident that is under investigation at Penn state. I would still tale him at 13 in a heartbeat.

You do realize this is an extremely deep tackle class...I mean, Sewell is gonna be gone. Slater probably. Then you have a ton of second tier, talented tackles, starter caliber with upside, that will be available in the second...why would picking Parsons at 13 mean we aren't getting a OT?

Parsons is potentially a great player. But we need an OLT more than a LB. throw in a positional importance factor and OLT comes out on top. I just worry that the new HC wants a shiny new defensive toy instead of building the foundation. And we need to take OL in round two or three also.

We need an OT more but Parsons is a special player. 240 and 4.4. A TFL/Sack machine and all around beast. After Sewell is gone, none of the remaining comparable OTs come close to this guy. I sprint to the lecture to select him if I’m TT.

As long as he didnt set a bank on fire with the tellers tied to the empty safe and then carjack a getaway car ... i am not worried about a hazing incident in college.
