FWIW The Machine allows us to trade #8, #40 & 2022 Round 1 to move up to #3.

    We get Sewell.
    JAC gets whoever.
And The Trenchers do not like this ?

What you are telling me is that you are uninformed about how good Sewell is,
and what impact he would have.

That is classic Trencher thinking though...that even with an extra Round 3 & Round 6, in a draft that is deep at DB and PRS, we just have too many holes to afford this move.

We do not play modern football.

      Steep price wood
but id consider it if it PS is truly a generational talent
and considering Telesco’s less than stelar track record for picking Oline (I can’t bring the thunder quite like Boltgang, props brother)
playing with JH I think we would get PSs all
so ya id consider a 2022 first and our 2nd to switch
Elite Qb and Elite LT is one hell of a way to build your offense around

What if we don't pick at #8 overall? The way things are going, we may pick #4 overall...

some truth to that...... there are zero guaranteed wins the rest of the way..... only the lowly Jets look like a likely win(but they will likely be winless but the Chargers historically always lose to winless teams)..... MIA is possible but they usually beat us even when they were winless.....

Losing in Denver will be a blessing in disguise
we lost that game well before the last play of the game
we could have won the last play and the game and it would only mask our deficiencies while worsening our draft positioning

Lock may have also earned a little longer leash, which is good for us imo

It's too bad NC can't get the offense going though - only 42 points so far!

The same applies to that lucky win week one against CIN...... because we won, Lynn's worship of Taylor grew and it hid the major flaws in our defense.....

kind of like thart lucky 12-4 season we had where almost every break went our way(but every game revealed major flaws)..... then we were destroyed by NE in playoffs....

                    8. LOS ANGELES CHARGERSED KWITY PAYE, MICHIGAN

A few more weeks of what we’ve seen so far and this is your likely EDGE1. Paye has 13 pressures through two games after only registering 37 last season. The 6-foot-4, 272-pounder could set records at the Combine as well — at that point, it’s a wrap.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

First round needs to be a pass rusher, OT or CB.....In 2nd round, Chargers need to draft the big fast bama RB,...... we need a big fast durable power back who can catch.... so we dont have to switch RB's every other play.....

In the second round why wouldn't we pick the other that we didn't pick in the first round?
I don't care if we have a RB by committee as long as the OL is good.
Kelly will get better but he isn't very elusive. I still think Jus Jack is better.
