2021 Draft Discussion - Bolts Pick 13th

In the second round why wouldn't we pick the other that we didn't pick in the first round?
I don't care if we have a RB by committee as long as the OL is good.
Kelly will get better but he isn't very elusive. I still think Jus Jack is better.

My overly optimistic viewpoint on Kelley was out of him showing a growth spurt around the time of the Senior Bowl.

cause we are depending on 2 smallish RB's who are both injury-prone.....and a rookie who is a good backup but nothing special..... We need an OL AND a real every down back who can power his way for a firs down on 3rtd and one...as well as catch the ball.....

We don't have that and have not had that for a long time..... the alabama back is big fast and catches the ball with hands like a WR.... ive never seen a big super fast and elusive power back who also cathes the ball that welll.....

Knee I think was what was reported. 1Q when he went out.

Gordon isn't small and he broke many tackles. I think we just need a better OL and pass rushers.
LT wasn't a big RB. Listed at 221 LBs but I'd have to see the scale myself lol. Imo he wasnt bigger than Gordon who is listed at 215.
I'm not against a bigger RB of course but don't think we need a 230+ pounder. Just need a better OL period. Makes everything better.

McCaffrey is 200 lbs, has been hurt just this season which to me is amazing really. Mathews was 220, hurt all the time.

I have good news and I have bad news.

The good news is we are inching closer to drafting Penei Sewell.

The bad news is we are playing Miami next week and will have to endure another heartbreaking, soul taking loss, as payment for continuing to move up the draft board.
