I don't think that's the reason.
One OT isn't going to shut down one of the best offenses in the league. Our OTs sucked and Herbert won OROY.
They took away what Tyreek and Kelce do best. They had a great defensive game plan
TB was also tied for 4th with 48 sacks.
Good news for us is the Rams we're second with 53.

Scherff was a guard at Iowa before sliding to tackle to replace Riley Reiff. Then slid back to guard in the NFL.
Kinda reminds me of AVT’s situation. Started at guard at USC then slid to tackle to replace Austin Jackson. Will probably slide back to guard in the NFL.Our quarterback is a golden god.

In any case, AVT looks like he has OT feet. He'll get a look at OT first, no doubt.

I think AVT could play OT right away in the NFL, but strategically, I’d like to see him at guard for a year before he slides out. Get that game-speed adjusted first. Our quarterback is a golden god.

KC needed a third problematic weapon, a WR not named Sammy or Mecole, or a big back ala Kareem Hunt.
This was needed as much as OT health, or better IOL play.
And look at all the weapons TB had--they did not even use many of them.We do not play modern football.
