    Convince me I am wrong.
Could not agree more Wood. Better to build the O Line and D.
Chiefs spend big at WR and TE because they can while Mahomes is on his rookie deal, and the best offensive mind in the league is running the show.
As it sits now, If the Chargers kept M Williams at his salary they would be the only team with 2 receivers getting top 10 money, 8 and 9. Simply can't do it(unless Mike takes a huge paycut to extend and restructures this season).
Interesting that the Rams are next with Kupp and Woods ranking 11 and 12. Way too much for them.

If they sign MW to a longer deal he would be somewhere between 15 and 20 depending on the contract. Thats what id expect to see anyways. I dont know why TT would keep him at the 15.6 mil deal. If they want to keep him, extend him and save cap. If ot they can release him without a dead cap hit. Its really that simple.

To me Mike is nowhere near worth 15 a year, if he wants more than 11 bye.
Would be as dumb as the Donkeys giving Gordon 8 to go 5-11.

Slater is my #1 IOL prospect and worth #13. I compare him as a more explosive/athletic Zack Martin.

Pitts could be a big WR or move TE and replace MikeDub.

We won’t sniff Parson at #13.
If Pitts drops past #9 I bet you TT pounces and makes a trade offer.

Not against taking Pitts at #13. No trading up though. Maybe trade back with the right offer if our guy ain’t there.

Same. If we stand pat & he's there at 13, I'm not opposed to it. Especially if Slater is gone.

Pitts is a rare talent. But I think he’d help the offense equally as much as Slater would.

I call this my "Cut the fat, then draft Surratt" first 3 rounds draft.

Cut the fat: Trai Turner, Chris Harris, Casey Hayward.
Trade MW to Cincinati for their 3rd round pick.
I think this saves us $40 million cap space.

I use that money replace guys I just cut and rebuild my IOL
                        OC Corey Linsley
OG Matt Feiler. He did a nice job filling in for DeCastro @RG. Replaces Turner. He can play RT. He replaces Bulaga @ RT in 2022.
CB Cameron Sutton. Replaces Mike Davis. Don't have to re-sign Davis.
The cap savings also allows us to re-sign HH and other FA's.

                        Draft Surratt:
1st OT Slater/AVT. Build that OL. Has a year to prove he's a LT. If he isn't... move him to LG.
2nd LB Dylan Moses/Chazz Surratt. This assumes we play Murray Jr. plays OLB. Excellent coverage LB's that can also blitz.
3rd CB Paulson Adebo. Replaces Hayward. This was the 3rd rounder we got for MW.
3rd CB Elijah Molden. Replaces Harris Jr.
3rd RB Kenneth Gainwell. Now that we've rebuilt the OL and protected JH... get him a weapon.

                        But what about Surratt...?
4th WR Sage Surratt. Surratt offers a lot of the skillset you lose by trading MW. A big physical WR and a redzone target... for much, much cheaper.
                        Protect the QB
                        Run the ball
                        Play great defense

                          I like it. Nice work.

                          Questions:
Does Tevi stay at LT if Slater/AVT can’t hack it?

Who’s at LG if Slater/AVT can play LT?

Do you like Sutton more than Davis overall? Or is it a scheme fit thing?

Who you got as your starting down linemen?

                          Concerns:
Not sure anyone ponies up a 3rd for MW. But I’ll take it if they do.

Can’t fathom not drafting an edge. There’s so many good ones.

The only pick I don’t really like is the LB in the 2nd. I think Tranquil will have a nice year and can stay healthy. Let him have 1 more chance, and put depth behind him. That’s just me though.

                          Love Slater/AVT.
                          Love Adebo.
                          Love Molden.
Love Gainwell (also just a sick name for a RB, right?)

Undecided about Sage. Wanna know his 40 before I judge. Heard rumblings that it ain’t that great. They’re just rumblings, for now. Obviously you know my guy is Imatorbhebhe. We’ll see.
