Cutting Tillery (pre or post June 1) saves $923,655. To save $2M you need to trade him. Per OTC calculator.

had another one w/Pro Football Network that was too small to copy/read....

Jermaine Johnson, Kyler Gordon, Daniel Faalele, Josh Jobe, Greg Dulcich, DeAngelo Malone, Noah Elliss, Matt Araiza, Cole Fotheringham, Dion Novil, Demetrius Taylor

lookin' over these mocks/simulations, am def interested in TE w/the either of Calcaterra or Dulcich, if Cade Otton is off the board too early.

am also pretty keen on nabbing Araiza....

5/11 Fuaga, 37 Kamari Lassiter, 40 Sinnott, 67 Bralen Trice, 69 Cedric Gray, 105 Jaylen Wright, 110 Braelon Allen, 140 Joe Milton, 181 Khristian Boyd, Tylan Grable, 225 Daijun Edwards, 253 Miyan Williams

I'm not gonna throw a fit about Araiza in R6.

If this happens: Tag MWs, slide fieler over to RT, sign FA guard or promote jaimes to starting LG

then I’d approach the draft like this: sorry haven’t dipped into draft stuff enough to go 7 rounds yet. But these first three rounds seem plausible ATM but the combine might change all this.

round 1 trent mcduffie CB washington

round 2 travis jones DT uconn

round 3 boye mafe Edge minnesota

Fieler isnt moving to RT and wasn't signed as a OT.

Don't you think they would of moved him there when we had injuries if they had ANY plan to do so?
They don't care what Pittsburgh did as they have had some shit OLs and moved guys around. Obviously that isn't our plan.

Never say never but there has been zero sign of that being a plan here.

Well i guess we are quibbling now. Our backups are not better than Tillery imo. I agree Tillery hasn’t lived up to Rd1 selection, thats irrelevant. We need a better starter and better backups. I think Tillery is better than our backups, he’s not great as a starter. Will other backups you bring in be better than Tillery? Beats me. Backup implies not starter so they don’t solve the problem.

Not sure how to assess your “decent backups may not always make the tackle …” comment. If they don’t make a play that they should make, i don’t care about why at the macro level. The entire DL group needs major uplift, Tillery was not a good #1 pick. Maybe we disagree less that it seems

If we cut him, we have $2M cap gain, not $3,6M.

Great draft. Not sure how you got all those fallers, but I’d love it if draft day went like that. A lot of my favorites in there.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

You and I have 2 identical players in our first 3 rounds (McDuffie and Mafe).
                    McDuffie finishes the secondary.
Mafe gives us a pass rush specialist opposite Bosa on 2nd-and-long or 3rd-and-long situations. I believe they re-sign Uchenna as he is very good at setting the edge (along with other responsibilities in the Staley defense)

I prefer to get my IDL's in FA (although I like your Jones selection). My mock has a RT in the 2nd round. Got to protect the franchise.

It's a simulator which likely aren't realistic in Feb or at all. I don't know why all the sudden interest in Skyy Moore but he is about where he will go here. 4th round, but I see some mock him in the 2nd for some reason. Just over valued here ,.....1 year wonder in the MAC with no return experience.

I'd be very surprised to see Raimann there in the 3rd round. I think he goes late 1st or early 2nd round.
I liked Alonte Taylor. But he's a weak tackler.
Nice finds with Noah Eliss and Quay Holmes!

Skyy might be the fastest player in the draft, plus he has solid hands and is very productive.
