Now in Popper article, “10 NFL Darft Day 3 Sleepers Chargers could target”, as well. Nice to all be on the same page and giving some love to Saturday selections as well!

Day 3 is the most fun for me. Finding/targeting dynamic trait prospects, future starters, and ST demons.

That’s cool, much props. I really focus on day 2. Gives you the night to party or recover from day one but also how team’s war rooms shift to cover needs and trade for value. Also first round talent or players you thought would be off the board maybe still available to go get.

          My 4 favorite ST demons:

          Benjamin St-Juste, gunner
          Avery Williams, gunner/returner
          Grant Stuard, utility
          Ben Mason, utility

Hope we end up with one of them.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

            Round 4: Notre Dame
            Round 5: Sammy Small School
            Round 6: Notre Dame
Round 6: went to Notre Dame but transfered to Sammy Small School
            Round 7: John Carroll Univ

Seriously - want some OL and CB depth on day 3
Round 7 - if there is a guy who might be hurt, not ready to play in 2021 but can stash on IR - that might be a good pick too.

Dayo Odeyingbo is a day 2 prospect that may drop due to injury into day 3.
He won’t make it to round 7 but if he’s there in round 5, I’d give him a redshirt year.

For the right player, R5 might not be too early for the idea of a "red shirt" year. I know the guy would count towards the cap but only 650k or so might be better prepared in 2022. Ideally would prefer the second of the two 6th rounders or of course the 7th but the draft isn't always that easy

I thought of the BYU TE - can't think of his name - but I think he will be ready at some point this year.

Just a note - the NFL could avoid having to hide guys on IR and all this if they would just allow teams 2 or 3 players they can sign but not expose to the Practice Squad and not be part of the 53 man roster where 8 are inactive. They should make the rosters 59 or 61 and have 51 or 53 active. Less players would play hurt that way and teams could than keep guys around who are not ready this year but need practice.

Dear TT. There’s your draft list for our first 4 picks. 5 if we’re lucky.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Over 8 years, Telesco has drafted 3 - 5 starters on day 3 .... some might call most of them solid depth.

I know my post above was sarcastic but Telesco in Rounds 5-7 has been much better in Rounds 3 and 4. Granted, he has traded away three fourth rounders and one 3rd rounder to date. But some of his picks in those two rounds - not good!

Makes me wonder if in rounds 3 and 4 is he going for the big upside potential and in later rounds just finding serviceable players that might fill a specific type role on the team. Or maybe its just the right player
