Not to be the pessimist here, but what over Telesco's time makes you think all of a sudden he breaks from the past and corrects it tomorrow? I don't see it. The roster has holes from years of poor planning and poor drafts. Tomorrow will be more of the same, sadly. I just get the impression this time and far as evaluation and analytics is about 6 steps behind everyone else. I think what we need to hope for is that no matter who is drafted, Staley and his staff can coach them up and maximize their potential. That is the hope, because I see nothing, even last draft, that suggests Telesco will improve his drafting and valuing of players.

I had doubts about Slater at LT, but others really like him and I am often wrong. He's a stud until he proves otherwise.

For what it's worth I just watched a former corner in the NFL absolutely Pan the Eric Stokes pick. He says yes he's fast but he has no feel for the game he has bad footwork and.zero route.recognitioon. a great athlete please going to take a lot of coaching.

I definitely did not seem as a first rounder and had him lower than many.
