    35.5 vert is really pedestrian
He passed on short shuttle, wonder why?

    Addison also pooped his combine
    I think a 4.42 is pretty good. I wasn't expecting a 4.3.

Don't really care about a vert. Well I guess it does matter some but he is short and not going to be out jumping many unless a short CB is covering him.

Some WRs fight for the ball, some don't whether they can jump high or not. Tyrell Williams did not and he was tall with a 39.5" vert.
You might be surprised to know that MW vert was only 32.5" but he fights for the ball.

Flowers best trait along with his speed is his YAC ability which is elite and what we really need from a WR, and he caught the ball well in the drills.

I also don't care about RAS scores either. Need to watch the tape more than that BS because these numbers aren't telling us the whole story.

I think there is some overthinking going on with some of these guys.

Is Addison a 1st rounder? That’s my question. At 6-0, 175 pounds, I see him early second. Size counts in the NFL.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

        Really?

How many years have you seen teams try to cover Kelce? We already have Derwin and Kelce still wins the games for them

No one is saying you stop trying to play defence, just saying Herbert and the offence can be more elite and dominant in todays NFL than the defences we are seeing from Staley. The rules favor offences now and the AFC is stacked with elite QBs. Join the arms race or get left behind. The SB was 38-35

I want Kincaid or Washington more.

Good points on offense, but we still have to beat KC. And stopping Kelce is one of the keys. I’m only trying to find one player, a TE coverage specialist, to put on him. There are still a lot of draft picks remaining.

I don't want Mayer nor Washington in the first.

Mayer is Hunter Henry redux, both timed at 4.72.
                No, no,no!

Washington is stiff in his hips,
he timed well in the 40, but can't run the Antonio Gates routes that the best tight ends use today.

No to either in the first.

                Kinkaid, i don't know.

I think they will look for a LaPorta or Musgrave type in the 2nd if they can get someone like Nolan Smith in the 1st

It does and I'm an advocate for bigger and i think 175 is a bit light. For WRs 180 and up prefered, actually 185 and up ideal but not a deal breaker at 175 if their playmaking ability is high.
I like to think anyone can gain 5-10 lbs but I know a handful just have a hard time doing that.

Think I'd pass on a WR in round 1. Id only maybe go there if Kincaid, Mayer Sanders, Smith, Kancey are all gone and we trade down a little.
Not sure about a RT til we see what happens with Pip.

I do like Addison and he may be a round 1 guy but he isn't on my list of recievers I'd want to have. Neither is Dell who a few here like a lot.

I'd like us to get one of Hyatt, Flowers, Mims, Downs, Scott, Tillman within the first three rounds.
Downs is dynamic but man he is undersized at 171 so im apprehensive, so he would be last on my list and needs to add 5 lbs minimum. I keep going back and forth on him actually because of his size.

On any given play he's either run blocking, pass blocking, or giving Herbert a huge target.
                      PON
                      humble demeanor
Has something to prove in NFL (production) sitting behind Bowers.
                      untapped potential.
I don't think he'll drop many Herbert lasers.

Seriously, the perfect TE for a Herbert led offense.

                        exactly the bold.
And most teams don't even have a qb that can even sign-up for the race, ours automatically gets a head start.
                        makes too much sense.

I'll be disappointed if we don't get a 1st round weapon.

                          I agree with you.

The combine left me feeling this crop of receivers is just ok and I dont see drafting one in the first round anymore. I dont want Addison. Much rather get Kincaid as TE weapon, our version of seam stretcher to work with Herbert and draft one of the WRs you mentioned in 2nd or 3rd and I would add Mims, Palmer to your group.

Hopefully we resign Pipkins so we dont have to draft a tackle in round 1.
