I will agree with you on this, as far as tape...although Flowers also didnt run a blistering 40, when he catches the ball in stride, he accelerates into the next gear so fast, he leaves surprised defenders grasping at air...also like him...

Also think this is just academic debate...WR at 21 is a long shot, IMO...but who knows.

Not taking beef in a draft is a huge mistake. 10 of 22 starters are OL, DL or ED. You have to keep bringing in young starting talent there. You can’t take a year off. Especially when your lines are as thinly manned as ours. 3 of 7 picks on average should be beef with many being day 1 and 2 picks.

If the average playing career of a lineman is 5 years, you’re looking at replacing 2 guys a year. We just have to keep drafting and developing these guys. So there are no years off.

As an aside, the Bolts should always try to bring in USC and UCLA players as a way of “recruiting” their fans as new Bolts fans. More SC, less ND.

Considering those schools fans are likely already in LA, I don't think drafting their players is a good strategy if they aren't worthy.
Kelly for instance , let's say he recruited 100 fans. He hasn't been really worth a shit for us so what did we gain?
Cost Spanos more money to pay him to not be very good than those 100 fans brings.

They can be fans from home watching on TV.

The reason TT drafted ND players is he had a connection guy there he knows and trusts but it hasn't netted very good results.
Might be why we haven't drafted any lately. Or the guy isn't there anymore..

Both are very impressive athletes on tape...mid round TEs. It does not necessarily have to be one of the big ones early.

Still like TE Tucker Kraft or Sam LePorta in the 3rd or 4th.Looks like a solid addition even tho some on here said he is developmental?Just not sure goin TE in the 1st is gonna have the most winning impact for this team.Could be wrong but wouldn't be overly thrilled with one at 21.
