you could count them if you wanted to. i mean, they aren't your chickens, its not even your coop. if you count right you won't actually get any chickens and if you count wrong nobody is going to come to your house and scream "Where's my FXXXing chicken?" Its really a no risk thing tharrr for you

As an example, I wasn't counting unhatched chickens at halftime when the Chargers played the Jags in the playoffs.

I was counting them, to my dismay. I left my house at halftime to go set up for a gig, assured of victory. As the clock hit zero, with me standing on stage craning my neck to see the bar TVs … WTF I had no chickens, I was really disappointed. And yet … then nothing happened to me at all. I’m good! How about that.

What bummed me out more was more people in the bar were glad they lost than bummed. The LAC-move hatred runs deep in east county, i hope they get over that love-pain someday.

I’m just glad that 2023 will be different
