Tannenbaum didn't understand how the A-A-Ron Rodgers contract even worked - so not sure I can take him seriously if he didn't understand that

I would take Bijan over Branch 10 out of 10 times.

IF Branch and Kincaid were both on the board at 21 it would for sure be a nail bitter on who to select between the two? Either way I would be happy initially if we got either one! Herbert throwing to Kincaid vs Branch playing with Derwin! Decisions decisions!

Branch is a stud, but I'd be surprised if they went in that direction. One big reason they were interested in John Johnson iii is that he would buy them more time on the JT Woods project. Selecting Branch would signal defeat in that endeavor - not something they like to do until a few years have gone by & it's blatantly obvious. To be fair, it's still too early to know what they truly have in Woods. Hopefully he's put on some weight and watched some film on K9's tackling technique - so that he knows what NOT to do.

I think they are good next year as well. They have plenty of options in 2024. Cut JC, restructure Derwin, Bosa and they go from minus 11m to plus 20mil. They can also extend Mike and get up to 35mil of space for 2024. So they can easily go another season of Bosa/Mack Allen/Williams. And then In 2025 Mack and Allen are UFAs and they have tons of cap space opening up. Health will be key to success and Herbert will have to play his best in post season. AFC is tough.

Who's the Punt Returner this year?
Probably my biggest concern along with RB in 2023.

He dang well better.Bijan is a top ten talent in this draft at a point of need with our garbage rushing attack.Then Eke could play the role he and his body were meant to play.
