You blame Ekeler for the Jville playoff loss? Interesting. In decline, really? He led the league in scoring two years running.

I think the problem with Ekeler is that as a #1 RB is overall yards are really low. He is a TD machine when they are close to the goaline but struggles to get yards when they are needed, IMHO.

Maybe it was the poor Lombardi run setups that made him look pedestrian at times. Our situations were easily diagnosed by other teams so maybe this had something to do with my ambivalence about Ekeler. We scored 3 points in the second half of that game so I don't know who to blame.

Yes to all of the above...TT knows he's been burned too many times by trading down...when yer in the hot seat, no reason to light another fire...plus we have too many holes to fill to trade up...Bijan will be long gone by the time we pick...
