They didn't want to set a precedent. Blame the Eagles for not drafting the Bulldog Cheerleaders.

If you had said last year that Purdy would be winning games and make the playoffs, you would have gotten the same response.

Maybe they convert Duggan to RB. He's faster than half the RB class.

Now that I think of it, Stick has been kind of streaky in the PS games he's played...his lack of height really is a problem seeing receivers...maybe the Bolts are looking to upgrade here...I sure didn't like Chase, and Stick isn't all that impressive...let's see what Duggan can do...

Kudos to those who predicted a likely new backup QB in the 7th.
I didn't get any players right in my mocks but had the right position in the 5th and 6th.
Patriots took the IOL and Chiefs took the run stuffer I wanted just ahead of the picks.
Sure wish we knew if the final decision is ever made exclusively by Telesco, or by committee?

Well, I wish Stick would've gotten a chance. He never got to play in an NFL game and even his preseason play was limited. But the Duggan pick probably means they don't see Stick as a viable back up.

Lol,we didn't draft him to be a franchise QB and you need backups. Stick is on a 1 year deal and he stinks imo.

I expect Moore to incorporate some of their plays if god forbid Herbie misses any time.

You're right - the Niner fans were probably laughing over that pick last year just like we are this year. Maybe Duggan will surprise.

Telesco said they wanted to get another QB at some point in the draft. Which to me meant the 7th round.

I'm not upset and totally get it. I mocked Duggan once or twice in the 7th.

I might've prefered to roll the dice on someone like Tyson Bagent, but whatever.

I think location may factor in just a little when thinking about contract 2
