I must add, he is not a Mike Williams. MW is a classic 3 step vertical wr. Even in his clemson days, he route is mostly vertical, stop to square up and catches the outside shoulder passes. Essentially he suppose to own outside the hash of his side.
I see the chargers did try to get more creative and run him on crossing route here and there but why?
That said it is interesting to see where the chargers offense go from here. Are they going to run more 2 wide and run a more vertical offense? That’s waiting t be seen.
