In playoff games you have to be able to run the ball. Look at the superbowl and the jags playoff game. In both those games the RB being able to run the ball pretty much gave them the edge to win the game.

As a matter of fact we don't know either way if we did or didn't. My simple question to him was how do you know. Factual speaking he never gave me an answer on how he knows we actually had a good draft. I never said we didn't have a good draft I was just asking him what he was basing his statement on.
I went back and looked at every draft TT has had in the last 11 years and if you regard each draft you can conclude TT is not a very good evaluator of Talent as a whole. His best pick so far has been Justin Herbert and even he said he was going to draft a QB with the pick and would have drafted Tua had the Dolphins picked Herbert, which tells me TT got lucky with that pick, and also he isn't honest because in his presser today he stated we don't draft positions of need, and in the case of Herbert he drafted a position of need. TT is all over the place and aloof when asked questions.
Don't discredit odds either because in some cases they are pretty spot on if applied correctly. Odds are if you turn your sink faucet on water is going to appear.
I see changes each year since the time he drafted Herbert. I think highly of the current roster.. Nothing said here is evidence of anything going forward.
Let's revisit this discussion in Feb- Mar 2024.

I’ll help y’all out. Quentin Johnston is Jamar Chase or closest thing to Jamar Chase in this draft lightning quick. Gets jump balls runs after the catch. We will run a lot of screen passes have him lineup out of backfield him And Eckler together. Him in sets with Everett. He’s gonna do alot of slants.
he just hits the home run. With a guy like Herbert who’s extremely accurate this pick is a home run. He’s gonna know where to go with the ball.
Seattle fucked up drafting JAXSOn over this guy.
with Kincaid would’ve been a nice pick. But this guy is box office.
here’s what I will tell you. I think we were taking Kincaid and then had an A shit Quentin Johnson is still on the board?
Quentin Johnston and Bijan Robinson we’re the two home run hitters in this draft.
In my evaluation I had Quentin Johnston valued higher then Jameson Williams.
The comp is Terrell Owens the current comp playing is Jamar Chase.
Duggan don’t know logic but maybe it will help Johnston getting acclimated to the NFL having his college guy with him. But don’t you want your starter to get that chemistry with his new receiver?
like the normal shit going to Dave and Busters you want him doing that with Herbert I guess they’ll all do it together.
Clark Phillips would’ve loved to get him in the 4th round. As for the defense solid picks.

This Draft was about as exciting as the off-season as a whole. In other words, a total dud. LOL! We just fell further and further behind the top teams in the League. Telesco, once again, proves he has zero feel for the Draft. If a player doesn't fall into his lap (James, Herbie, Slater) he whiffs. The Eagles and Chiefs are gonna be in the SB next year, again. Basically nothing to discuss, other than how pathetic this franchise is, from now until the coming season is over. Might as well just fast forward through the throwaway '23 season and see what the next coaching staff and FO can do for the losing culture. This team - from ownership on down - is just a joke. Our one claim to fame is the coining of the word "Chargering". A term that so aptly fits.

I’ve called TT completely average. His drafts are average, his record is average, he is utterly mediocre average. I’m on record supporting an upgrade at GM. Many here have hope that Staley and now Moore have improved his choices by their direct influence and lobbying. Tbd as far as i am concerned. We have a good roster right now, but a lot of it was bought, not born.
There were a lot of guys here who did not want Herbert - Tua or not. I recall some Edge/DE a lot were hot about as better than Herbert. I agree we were lucky that Miami was stupid to prefer Tua, but some of us knew which would be better before the draft. but I have never seen these TT quotes I have heard a few times here that TT would have drafted Tua. Perhaps you could repost them to complete the record?“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

I don’t think y’all understand Henley was here for Coverage. We got Shredded By Kelce now we got a guy who can cover him. You’re in a division with Mayer. You need a linebacker that can cover so I like it.

Best WR in the draft
Good edge/3tech flex DL
Good LB
Best returner
Quality OG depth pick
Quality IDL depth
backup QB maybe
We didnt get a TE, RB or CB/S, but folks here called for all of those positions they did get - can’t upgrade 8 or 9 positions with 7 picks. 3 of 6 picks are beefish. Balanced approach that should contribute 2023 and give options for 2024/beyond.
idunno - not sure the magic some folks expected. People are pissed that teams with 11 picks and picking 15 slots earlier each round had a better draft. Well … duh.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

Funny thing is, IF Ekeler didn't have such a big head he would probably be great returning kicks but I think he believes he is this great hall of fame RB that doesn't want to risk his next money contract and it would be beneath him to return kicks. I could be wrong but I doubt it.
