I do. He has had a good season. He has good size and he has speed. I have him 4th round right now but thinking he can climb to the 3rd from the combine. A lot of time to go still 3-4 for him. Don't think his Daddy is gonna like him being a Charger though. I wouldnt with this ownership.Originally posted by beachcomber View Post
agree, and guessin' Wilson is likely a day two prospect.... have seen him listed as day three/round four prospect a time or coupla few as well,
(the second half of that mock gave me some problems, as guessing there are gonna be more linemen added than I have listed, but like to do them just to get a real sense of what's really the likelihood w/some of the position groups, as had slotted more than a coupla few of the CBs round/day two, and.... they may go off the board sooner than that ?)
wonder who that round three value pick @wideout is this year.... Jolt likes Brenden Rice ??
Legette also 4th round.
We need more picks!

Ultimately I want the defensive line addressed in the draft. Add another young pass-rusher to Tuli and an impact defensive tackle. I hope we can find those types of players in the first two rounds.
If we get a real head coach in the offseason (Harbaugh) I think the guys we currently have on the offensive line will play a lot better next year. We could definitely add a center, but I would like to see how the four young starters we currently have develop under Harbaugh. Strengthening the defensive line should be the top priority after we hire a real head coach, as far as I'm concerned.

BTW T'Vondre Sweat on your initial cluster was probably my only go to in NT in this draft, but he is too big and measure too well to be drafted at the right value judging by how the season is going.Originally posted by beachcomber View Post

think NTs are most always overvalued, and my sense is that most any of 'em worth drafting are mostly gone by early in the second, and so.... if he was there for our second, would give heavy consideration to NT there, albeit the OC is a priority if Van Pran is still on the board, and.... given we could get a second for Bosa ??Originally posted by C'monchargers View Post

is there a pass rusher outside of Laiatu that stands out for you ?? and ditto re: an impact DT besides Jer'Zhan Newton ??Originally posted by DerwinBosa View PostUltimately I want the defensive line addressed in the draft. some peoples have Coleman ahead of Odunze.... wonder what Nutty thinks 'bout that ?? (he was touting Odunze quite a bit last go 'round)Originally posted by Fleet 1 View Post

Mar'Keise IrvingOriginally posted by Boltinloudguy View PostIs RB Bucky Irving going under the radar? He has some real power for his size. Also a very patient runner and has good hands. Not to mention averaging over 6 YPC over the last 2 years.
not an every down back, not an overly patient runner, and doesn't always run on schedule, some question his pass blocking, not a pile pusher, some question his long speed, not better than Austin, and prolly an Ekeler lite.
is fun to watch, is slippery and has short area quicks, is a jumpcutter that can't drive 55, as once he hits 60, he don't slow down for nuthin'.... yards after contact and missed tackle rate are impressive, is a bit of a hybrid receiver w/a Warrick Dunn compare, and prolly falls within the Chargers sweet spot/wheelhouse, somewhere in the third round ??
think the temptation is to get someone like him to replace Ek, and.... am ok w/Kelley in that role if we re sign him, and.... RB by committee has its advantages, albeit am more after two backs that can carry the load, as we will still have the Dot going forward as well.
guess you could put him in your round three cluster if you fancied him as such, and personally.... would put him in as the caboose of the bunch (behind Trey Sermon).
