It's not about him running over people. Wasn't a lot of that in that video. It's about he has good hands, speed, gets open and has YAC ability and he can block.

We need a TE badly imo. One Herbert can have as a weapon.

He isn't the only player I like in round 1 but til I know who we retain and cut or trade, he is my #1.

Right now I don't see WR being the pick, or a OT.

And certainly not a QB that early.
    1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
    2. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio st
    3. Kyle Kennard Edge So. Carolina

    4. CJ West DT Indiana
    5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee
    6. Zah Frazier CB UTSA
    6. Jarquez Hunter RB Auburn
    6. Jay Higgins LB Iowa
    6. Hunter Wohler S Wisconsin
    7. Carson Vinson OT Alabama

      Disagree.

Reading many draft experts more qualified than we are saying Bowers is a top 5 talent in this draft. Koolaid and definitley Verse are reaches in the top 6.

Bowers will absolutely be a top 10 pick, not taken in the 2nd or 3rd round like you are advocating for. This is an impact weapon for Herbert, not your typical average TE

We need a Mack/Bosa replacement badly first
We need a KA/Williams replacement badly first
We need a Shutdown Corner replacement badly first

TE at 6-10 is a weird luxury pick in my book. I hope to god that the new head coach over rules this type of thinking.

I like 2 of the receivers as much, MH2 obviously much more but he’ll be gone by 3 imo. maybe the 3rd Odunze, I’m just not as sure yet but that’s probably me more than him. Bowers will run over some DBs, think you selling him short. He’ll outrun bigger LBs too. He’s the best all around TE in many years so saying he’s not good enough is off the mark imo. Agree to disagree.

He will do little for what ails our team. Might help a little but fixes no big problems we have.

would volunteer that the top four talents are Caleb, Marvin, Alt and Brock.... think Maye, Fashanu and Dallas Turner are all risky/overvalued @top 5-10 ??

NFL mock draft database, using a compilation of over 70 bigboards, plus tons of mockdraft sites, has Bowers as the consensus #4 prospect in the country...but you are so stubborn about this TE picked high thing, you would instead shoehorn Keon Coleman into your top 12, or top 10 non qbs...lol

I guess you did say " Nuttys top 10"...as you will, I guess...

But nobody...and I mean nobody, thinks Coleman is even top 15...you coulda at least threw Newton in there...

Now you're talking situational football... and I would never draft a 1st rounder that way.
I'm drafting players @#5-10 that are going to help my overall team be better... every play.
If you do that, then you're in a lot fewer 3rd-and-longs.
Think about the impact that an EDGE or shut-down CB has when your defense gets themselves a 3rd-and-long.
Think about the impact that any 1 of those 1st round WR's has on your 3rd-and-long situation.

Phucking wasted pick there at #5. would rather just buy a TE in the free market for $10 mil. Rather move down 5 spots than draft him there. Hoping someone is even more stupid than the believers in here....

We dont have $10M for a TE. He’ll be gone at 10, you’re misevaluating his value imo. And you can say fuck here.

But we have Money for a #19 mil Mike Williams, or $23 mil for a Mack, or $20 mil for a shutdown corner? Bowers is not some kind of secret sauce for what ails our offense. I like to intentionally obliterate the spelling for fun and profit.
