For those who are in the favor of moving Salyer to RT position to try his hand, in the event of Harbaugh being the coach of the Chargers it wouldn't surprise me one bit if we pick up Zak Zinter in the 3rd round if he can't recover in time to put in work at the combine or pro day. He is becoming a notable value at that draft position. And he can chase a championship on the field with his coach where he won't have the opportunity to do so in this years college playoff.

Depending on how he test, but I’m wondering how far WR Tre Harris will move up the board. He’s definitely a player I’d be ok drafting in the 4th or 5th.
TE Caden Prieskorn? Looked him up. Quiet this year but played at Memphis last year and had 600+ yards and 7 TDs. Maybe an UDFA to bring in for competition.
Would anybody be thats upset if they went?
1st- TE Bowers
2nd- RB Benson

1. The speed is real: just outraces dbs to the corner who have the angle.
2. He seems to gather himself a bit too much making cuts, but he's 221 pounds.
3. Announcer says right off that he leads college football in breaking tackles - yards after contact?
I was thinking 3rd, at earliest,
but I was wrong about Jonathon Taylor: and he would be my comp in college.

As we saw with Jamry Gibbs who I liked and said might be better then Robinson. As we are seeing this season it’s up for debate.
lesson learned if you like a guy. Draft him I don’t care what round.
Kool Aid???? I don’t want to do another Quentin Jammer so I dont know.
Is he sauce???????? Is he Revis????? If not no go with Bowers. I even like the receiver from LSU.
well see how he does against Michigan tomorrow. I’ll have some opinions and assessments.

Speaking of NCAA . Florida St has 5 starters not playing today on offense against Georgia. These bowl games to me are kinda downgraded in meaning because of this.
Can't blame the players but still.1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
2. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio st
3. Kyle Kennard Edge So. Carolina ✓
4. CJ West DT Indiana
5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee
6. Zah Frazier CB UTSA
6. Jarquez Hunter RB Auburn
6. Jay Higgins LB Iowa
6. Hunter Wohler S Wisconsin
7. Carson Vinson OT Alabama

I like him around the 3rd, not sure he has Rd 1/2 talent?
We need someone like him for the main RB before we draft a scat back. Saw someone say Hire Jr would be his RB.
Cool, as long we we have a Benson or Estime type already.
No way for our #1. Gore is too small.
We do have Spiller too I guess but is he gonna be our #1 RB? Not thinking so.
I also really like Jonathan Brooks but he is coming off a ACL. Iffy to be ready for TC.1. Mason Taylor TE LSU

Can't blame the players but still.
but it does put asterisks and disclaimers all over the bowl season, can’t “like” that.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

Strategery will be important this year,
so we can cover several needs.
For example, I am waiting and looking for exceptional value at RB. There is a deep UFA market coming.
So it's OL/replace Joey/MW early, and depth with the midrounders/late picks we get for them.
There will be a necessity to do this, whatever it is labeled as.We play modern Harball.

And if I were a teammate of theirs, who had benefited from their superior play all year or college career - I’d understand and 100% support them. Thats just me, i know how passionate some feel the other way on it.

Still I do get it for the players entering the draft but kinda defeats the college playoffs when players opt out.
They got ya there then not suiting up for ya lol.Last edited by Boltjolt; 12-30-2023, 02:22 PM.1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
