I wouldn't but I hope we get extra picks for Bosa and MW.
Speaking of NCAA . Florida St has 5 starters not playing today on offense against Georgia. These bowl games to me are kinda downgraded in meaning because of this.
Can't blame the players but still.
I hope so as well. I don’t even care if they are 4th-6th rounders.
I'm hoping for at least 3rds. Got be be high interest in Joey. We'll see.
I would be fired up if they were able to get a 3rd for either one of them.
9ers might bite in Bosa. Cheap QB contract and reuniting him with his brother for 2-3 years could be very enticing to them.
MW I would be surprised because of coming off his injury and contract. Lions might bite on MW for a 4th or 5th. He would fit in perfect for them. They have LaPorta and St. Brown for the middle of the field. A big target for Goff on the perimeter would help them even more.
Maybe even the Bears. Moore, MW and Kmet would be a nice trio for them. They have money to spend.
I think they are close.
Other teams will see our cap numbers.
We'll see what Ed McGuire and/or our new GM comes up with.
The hope would be more than one team is interested, so they aren’t just negotiating against our cap problem but vs another team. Otherwise as you note …
Recognizing Florida State had a lot of opt-outs, that was a downright embarrassing game to watch. That said, so many on here are all over Brock Bowers, yet Georgia has talented players all over the place making plays in its offense. Ladd McConkey, Oscar Delp, Dillon Bell, and Kendall Minton are among those who could have promising futures in the NFL. It wouldn't surprise me at all if McConkey has a similar career to Wes Welker.
