I’d agree with this. Even if he runs in the 4.5s and shows some explosiveness at his size, I’m taking him in the 3rd.

For starters, I propose moving Derwin to MIKE ala Divine Diablo

      This makes two DBs PON.
Anybody see any man to man, shutdown corners talked about?

Speed and tackling are what’s needed to make this work. And those guys are cheaper, allows you to put money into pass rushers.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      Let’s win one for Mack.

And yes, this rebuild is a two draft process for sure. Coaching staff as well - they need to be very good.
Probably not but you never know. Everybody wants OTs. If not he stays one more year.

Im thinking 4.6 and he isnt much in pass protection. One to note though.

You're looking in the wrong place.
Look up pass defenses that are currently giving up less than 200 yards per game.
You'll find 7 teams: Cleveland, Kansas City, Carolina, NYJ, Dallas, Baltimore, and Buffalo.
You'll find that each have shut down CB's (some of them have 2) and a lot of 1st round CB's.

            Protect the QB
            Run the ball
            Play great defense

Top OTs are hard to come by. Top bookend tackles sounds nice for a change. Give Herbert some love.Next year, we'll pick 18- 32.
Pick 6 sb OL, WR, TE based on exceptional talent available at these positions matching team needs.

How’s their pass rush? Of course better corners are better, but in a capped league, more expensive corners mean less expensive something else. And I’d rather have a top pass rusher than a top corner. Corners can be helped by scheme, pass rushers need more one on one skills.

HOUSTON -- Jim Harbaugh batted away any questions about his future at Saturday's media day session for the College Football Playoff National Championship, instead using his time to advocate for revenue sharing for college athletes.

The Michigan coach said coaches, administrators and television networks are all "robbing the same train" in making money off unpaid college players and he hopes the rapid pace of change in the sport can finally make revenue sharing a reality, not just in football, but in all collegiate athletics.

"We've seen a whole conference go into a portal," Harbaugh said of the Pac-12. "If those kind of things can happen overnight ... I don't know how the sausage gets made completely, but there's a lot of smart people that do, that know a lot about revenue sharing, know a lot about how those algorithms and economics work. And the real issue is there's no voice for the players."

Harbaugh routinely deflected questions about his future -- "Future, I'd like to have one," he said -- and snuffed out any NFL questions, dismissing them quickly, such as when he was asked what the difference was in time management between coaching in college and the NFL.

"I don't have that list in front of me," he said.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

He is my 2nd rnd pick. Bowers 1st, Allen 2nd. Those 2 would instantly improve the o-line. Teams wouldn't be able to sit on the pass because we would have a legit RB. Bowers would provide Hubert with a very good target and Bowers would provide help with blocking. Consider me sold on both.

Bowers is a roll of the dice.
We will all see how Brock does against very fast 215# NFL DBs with speed to power tackling torque.
He did pretty well against some of the top defenses. I like that he can be used to carry the ball around the goal line. I think he less of a risk than others in the draft, IMHO.
