Based on what we saw of Pipkens in week #17 when filling in for Slater,
and then them sticking Norton out at RT that final week to be beaten into a fine paste by Max Crosby;
it probably cost the Chargers the playoffs.
How about we get OT's that don't get beaten into fine pastes...Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

job. Sayler at OG for us, not so good. Salyer was a top 50 O line guy at Georgia while playing OT, not OG. He was brought in as an OG, but switched to LT and
excelled there.

Invest in both side of the lines with successful high picks, and great things will happen.

Reid's teams have spent three first-round picks on offensive linemen, including the 2013 first overall pick on offensive tackle Eric Fisher. The Chiefs also traded a first-round pick for offensive tackle Orlando Brown.

Crosby.
On the other hand we need another receiver not named Allen that we can rely on.
Now whether Pipkins, Alt, Sayler or some other guy plays RT, I'll guarantee you our O line plays better from day 1 in 2024. Want to know why?
We finally have a real HC and supporting staff that knows what they are doing.

Travis Kelce played in that 31-9 blowout loss in the Super Bowl against the Bucs, leading the Chiefs in receiving. So there's that, too.
where he belonged. The argument being you and others want to draft a LT and move him to RT. Didn't work for the Chiefs. That was the point.
