Beebe and Frazier regularly go in the 2nd round... maybe they make the #69 pick.
Zinter is a 3rd round guard going in the 4th (because of injury)... but he is definitely in my 4th round cluster.

Haynes is a realistic 3rd rounder.
But I'd rather have LB Junior Colson, DT McKinley Jackson, DT DeWayne Carter, or CB Mike Sainristil (not to mention several RB's/WR's) over Haynes.

Your 4th round OL are realistic... but there are a number of TE's, WR's, and RB's I'd much rather have: RB Jaylen Wright, RB Marshawn LLoyd, RB Audric Estime, WR Brendan Rice, WR Jermaine Burton, WR Malik Washington, WR Ainias Smith, TE Cade Stover, TE Ben Sinnott, TE Jared Wiley...

And I notice you have no OT prospects listed at all.

      Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston.
JP caught 72 passes in Keenan's absence.
QJ was a raw prospect that will be used correctly this year.
The extremely deep WR class will have a very good prospect in the 4th round.
Might be nice to see DD run a deep route, too.

I like Palmer and QJ, but that's not a starting WR corp. in a practical sense. Palmer has health concerns, in addition to a historical lack of production (doesn't have a track record of a high end 2 receiver, let alone a number 1)

The reason QJ wasn't used effectively is because he's very limited in what he can do. That's fine for a number 3. That's not okay for a number 2.

Oh I remember - it was just some ol 3rd degree vandalism/damage mischief and weed. yeah, he's also the one that sucker punched some chick TEN fan in the face on the field after a game, but whatchagonnado eh.

He's quite good. sounds like a solid KC prospect to me.
I think Wu said that Alt could do everything that Roman asks of an OT... no doubt, 100%.

Burton is a DUI, car-racing, gun toter...? I'd like to see that link.
80% of the NFL smokes weed... and testing (suspensions) rarely happen any more.
If by "sucker punched" you mean extended his arm toward the girls camera... then yeah (the dude's a real criminal)...

I disagree. Play-action will be used a lot this year. Palmer is a good route runner. QJ can change speeds well and burn guys deep off of play-action. His route running will improve... but not if he's sitting on the bench. Harbaugh never had elite WR's @SF or Michigan. Roman never had an elite QB before. I don't know how an elite WR helps you run the ball better or protect the QB. In fact, unless you get a much better RT, they won't do either very well.

I'm 100% convinced the Chargers are going to trade out of the #5 spot. If they don't trade out with the Vikings, they are going to trade back with the Cards. It just makes so much since. The Cards want MHJ and the Chargers want draft picks.

The Chargers will come out with either the #11, #27, plus extra 2025 draft pick or they will come out with the #11, #35, and #66. I would be ok with either scenario.

The Cards would get MHJ plus move up 4 spots in the 1st rnd plus extra draft capital and the Chargers will get extra draft picks. To me this makes too much since to not happen.

                Preaching to the choir, man.
We’ve been sayin it since MIN got 23.
But make no mistake, Hortiz isn’t getting takin the fool in this trade down.
And many of us think that just because they trade down from 5 to 11-27, doesn’t mean they can’t just go right back up from 11 with a 3rd to 8-9 and grab a Bowers/Odunze.
Then trade down for the extra picks with 27.

I wasnt referring to you, beach bro. sorry for any confusion. I was thinking of some twitter comments I say yesterday.

There is a LOT of chatter right here in TPB about the kid being a primadonna, unstable, me-first, not a team guy, blah blah ... all solely because he celebrates good plays with more gusto than some folks think he should. if that hard hat fits you ... and i'm not saying it does ... you can wear it too.

I've been saying Vikings for a long time, but I have a feeling Vikings are going to trade up with Cards. I think it will be the Cards the Chargers will ultimately trade back with when it's said and done.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cards GM is on the phone with Hortiz before they make the trade with Vikings telling Hortiz he wants to move up to take MHJ. Much like he did last year.

The Giants re-signed Jones for 4 years, $160m one year ago... then watched him play 5 games in 2023 and have decided to give up already...? As an encore, they will pass up Nabers, roll with below-average WR's, and draft Michael Penix...?

I guess... they are the Giants after all.

We’ve discussed this to death here.
Many of us are of the opinion it’s already a done, hand shake deal. And when MIN went and got 23 it was because they had already talked to AZ and LAC about where an acceptable 2nd 1st would need to fall for this all to work. MIN didn’t just go get that pick, then call them and say, “Hey!! Look what we did!!” They had already discussed what the parameters of a trade would require. And then MIN agreed and went and did it.
Im sure they asked NE as well since there is still an outside chance of a trade there…

But AZ already having 27 and 3 3rd round picks makes just too much sense.
I had it slightly different from Matt “Money” Smith.
                        I had it at,
                        MIN gets 4
                        AZ get 5-23-37-69-108
                        LAC gets 11-27-35-66-71

So we swap 2nds swap 3rds and get an extra 3rd.
Then LAC take a 3rd and move from 11 to 8-9 and grab their offensive weapon in Odunze or Bowers.
Then dangle 27 to teams. There’s going to be a bunch of teams who will want to jump back up.
WASH, PHIL, CAR and BUF all have 2 2nd round picks…
Trade 27 to WASH for 36 and 40. They get their QB and an OT in one draft. Or a WR..

Matt Money Smith mentioned your second option actually and I think I prefer that to 11 and 27. Not that I would turn down 11 and 27 - but if you can come away with two seconds and two third with your two fourths - that is roster building right there
