I know I honestly didn't expect that they see Hurst as Coach described him.
If they see Hurst like that then in order to draft Bowers, they would have to believe he's a Gold Jacket guy day #1.
He was signed to 1 year. Sure Hurst can be a good player and has been but he can also be a mentor. And will be whether we draft Bowers or not.

I absolutely do not think this means Bowers is off the table. We will draft a OC at some point as well. Some think 2nd round, some think 4th round. Seen some still think we pick JPJ in round 1 if we get pick 23.

I think we would draft Bowers before a WR at 5 or 11. Just do.

TE and OL and WR and RB are all through this draft, good ones early and late. No worries, JH2 are on it.

Impactful RBs are literally 4 rounds deep this year.

I honestly don't know what to expect from the Hurst signing, the type of head injury he sustained is enough to give me pause as to whether or not he will even continue to play going forward, I'm wondering if he's even on the final 53 man roster at this point, like I said, I don't know what to expect, if he turns out to be more than that it would be a really nice boost for the Chargers...

Why would the rumor not be true?

Parham does not block to Harbaugh standards, not even close. you've grown used to seeing and then accepting TEs that don't block well from watching the Chargers too long.

you might be right, it's been a while since we've had an honest to god blocking TE, after Manumaleuna who have been the better blocking TEs on the team? Gates was barely passable as a blocker but like Kelsey that wasn't really his role...

Could be .... but Notre Dame was only a 2 hour drive away from Indiannapolis, where Telesco cut his teeth.
You could say that the same is true about Ohio State, but Telesco also drafted 3 Buckeyes.

Once established in Southern Ca., Domers were replaced with USC / UCLA guys .

Zero players from Alabama, after Fluker.

they are going to keep it under wraps, whatever their plan is they have done a good job of adding to the roster in a way that doesn't make any pick too obvious and the one that seems really obvious is WR and that they might use that as a diversion considering how deep the WR group is this year...
Did you ever walk up to a group of gals (or guys - not judging you here), and after a short chat you decided to hit on the second best looking one because you could tell in just a few minutes that she would be way more fun and the "hottest" one would be a complete PITA?

I broke up with the 3 hottest gals I ever dated, current Mrs DMAC excluded of course, because they were PITAs.

Or not - who knows: Maybe its just liars month, maybe they see Odunze as a better team fit and addition even if Nabers is a better "receiver" (aka the second prettiest girl scenario), maybe they're trying to reverse-juju on AZ to get them to take Nabers instead of MHJ, ... or maybe they aren't taking any receiver at all at 5 and are just trying to fluff up the value of that pick5 for trade scenario competition?

we should just guess which it is and claim it as fact. its the TPB way. "Joe always does this, ... Joe always does that ..." has already crept back into this thread despite the fact he's never made a single pick or trade in his life after all

sure do. I usually bet burritos, tacos ... I guess I like mexican food alot.

whats the bet, specifically? If its who are they drafting, I don't know how many times I can say I don't know.
