So a trade that happened in 2014 could give us an idea what the chargers could get if the Vikes move up to 5.

In 2014 the Bills traded up from pick 9 to pick 4 to take Sammy Watkins. The Bills got in return, the 9th pick in 2014, a 2015 1st and a 2015 4th. So the Chargers should be able to get 11, 23 and a future pick as well.

I would be absolutely surprised if the Vikings hadn't talked to team about trading up before they made the trade to add another 1st rnd pick. This leads me to believe they have a handshake deal with either the Chargers or Cards if their player is there. I just can't see the Pats or Coms trading out of #2 or #3 when they need a QB just has bad as the Vikings.

If the Chargers had the 4th pick, my head would be saying trade back... but it would be so hard to pass on Harrison.

Don't sleep on Penix. I know we have been talking about top 4 QBs, but some scouts have him in the top 3 QBs. Don't be surprised on draft day if the top 4 picks are QBs we see a trade between the Chargers and Raiders so they can move up to take Penix.

Honestly, I have no faith in the Raiders to develop a QB. Plus, I would ask for a kings ransom from the Raiders.

If the Vikings pass up the Chargers and head to AZ for the 4th pick - Chargers get Nabors or MHJr

If they trade back - they get 11 and 23

I keep reading more and more negs on Nabers. Add in the majority of his damage was from the slot against team’s #3 CB … idunno anymore. I wish I was smart.

I’m leaning to Odunze if I was handcuffed and ordered to take WR and MHJ is off the board. Or go back to my first love - Bowers. Imagine Bowers or Odunze with the new hip drop tackle rule …

MIN won’t trade up to 5 for a WR and give up that much capital. If their QB is already gone, that trade goes poof.

And is a future 1 + future 4 worth a current 1? Beats me, i am thinking no.
