looking over Telesco's draft history, @least on the defensive side of the ball.... yes, CB and NT seem to be the two positions he hasn't reeled in a solid player (didn't count Des as he is sorta a hybrid DB ?).... did give Emanuel the benefit of the doubt, and did not on Verrett, albeit he obviously was very good when he was good/available. if you throw in FA and Hayward, then you can take CB off the list.

on the other side of the ball, still has a lot of boxes to check.... QB, OT, OG and the OC.... again if you count Pouncey, perhaps you can give Tommy T. a pass there, and ditto for OT w/Okung and the big guy from Philly.... not much of a need @QB, and.... as always, already looking forward to next year's draft.

looking over this draft, would still like a NT (Shelton) and a run stopping MLB.... balance is the operative word.... (speed kills ?)

Tony Pauline mentions that he doesn't think Jalen Ramsey will be in Jax come 2020 ??

my personal suspicion is that the one or both of the Melvins might be the odd men out when the salary cap next flexes its muscles, and....

looking over the Jax roster, doesn't seem like they have much of a need for either, and.... they could use some help @LDE to replace Calais Campbell.

if he continues his injury marred career, and still demands top market dollar.... would anyone consider moving Joey for Jalen ??

I'm going under the assumption that Jalen Ramsey will not be with the Jags in 2020.

Interesting little tidbits here: Remember Kyle Posey the last few years had an unnamed source revealing what was going on in the Chargers draft room while they made their selections?
That same source was talking to BFTB

Jerry Tillery was their last 1st round graded Dlinemen and are very happy they were able to land him, They had a top 10 grade on him, and were targeting help on a defensive player the whole time. Outside of Nick Bosa and Quennin Williams the player they really wanted to fall was ED Oliver. The only 2 offensive tackles they liked were Andre Dillard and Tytus Howard, Jawan Taylors knees worry them and they didn't think Cody Ford was a tackle prospect. Dexter Lawrence wasn't even on their list.

Na'sir Adderly was their targeted guy in the 2nd, and were almost tempted to trade up, but with the teams picking in front of them, they were highly confident he'd land in their lap, Juan Thornhill was their Plan B

Round 3 they had a trade in place to move back and acquire an extra day 3 pick, the player the other team targeted was pick somewhere before the Chargers selected which made that trade fall through, therefore the Chargers decided to stay put. They had 3 offensive tackles who they really liked Pipkens being the top of that list, though the other 2 were not mentioned they did say Yondi Cajuste was not in that group, due to mental character issues that they did not like when they interviewed him. They opted Pipkens in the 3rd knowing he wouldn't make it to them in round 4. One thing the source did say in addressing Pipkens was they are focused on getting him in the gym to get stronger before anything else.

The source did also mention that, the team is comfortable with the offensive line.

Assuming this is accurate information, this is pure gold for me. What I would' give to know these types of gems.
it kinda worries me that there's an unnamed source willing to reveal potentially important information regarding what our scouts look for, but it's damn interesting.

Bosa is as close to untouchable as any player can be.
I wouldn't trade him for anything short of a patrick mahomes, he's THAT valuable

Everyone has some good qualities, but being the 4th to 8th best at your position in a conference only gets you to camp. Let's see who wants to be a pro.
