No one player can compensate for that much lost, affordable talent
Agree...I don't think the Bengals trade down anyway...they need a QB, and Burrow to them is a no-brainer...I think we should just stay at #7 overall and take Wirfs and be done with it...

I don't give a shit who has their jerseys,
      or whatever the issue is.
      This is about talent level
      and the importance
      of the QB position
      in modern football.
I would trade Bosa, KA and two number ones.
      We get Burrow.
      Bungles get a bounty
and Tua or whoever at 6.
This draft is deep at OT, WR, and EDGE.
Cap relief means we can sign UFAs
      and fix our weaknesses.
      We can do this.
      Calling critty
      on the red phone
      right now.
We do not play modern football.

I wouldn't trade that for Tua. In fact I wouldn't draft Tua. At least not with our first. No China dolls allowed.
Now for Burrow, change Ingram for Bosa and I'd do it.

as a Tua advocate, I admit the injuries are a concern, but the talent outweighs the risk imho
if anything, his ability to rehab and play hurt speaks to his football character, tested and passed.
Tua got injured playing hurt, me think the devil (Saban) has something to do with it
either way, I objectively subtract points for allowing external pressure to affect his decision making
          accurate, mobile
comes from a varied offense (able to adjust)
          championship pedigree
          amateur surfer (balance)
          southpaw (ambidextrous)
spanked as a child for interceptions (disciplined)
communication/PR major (self explanatory, translatable skills)
          religious (infer what you will)
          big hands (see "religious")
          G-Ro knows.

All the talent in the world means nothing when you aren't on the field.
AJ McCarren had a championship pedegree at Alabama as well.

All that other stuff.... Who cares.

Tua will be the best left handed Bengal QB since Boomer Esiason.

Joe Burrow will look good in powder blue.

LOL: - it would be like the Bengals to pass on a great QB

Imagine if the Bungles pass on Burrow, who slips to #5, and the Bolts barely miss drafting him. That would be the classic Charger Way.

I like Eason. You don't have to chew off your arm to get him; nor pray that he doesn't become an injury bust.

Get your franchise LT with pick 6 (Thomas or Willls), then get Eason.

                      I have spoken.

This years and next years number 1, plus a number 2 to get Burrow?

It will probably be a high number 1 next year with Taylor at qb.

If Rivers is gone and Taylor is the QB,...and we draft Burrow...... I'd say Burrow starts by week 8
