He is what our dline is missing...inside anchor on run downs, and inside push on pass downs. Dude is a beast.

Edit: Don't get me wrong...I'm still hopeful the young group of Jones, Tillery, and Broughton can develop into a solid rotation...but add Brown to that? Wow...
After a couple OT's, I like Derrick Brown. PON.

I had Derrick, had he come out, as the #2 DT (Simmons #1) in the 2019 draft class. He is a top 5 talent and if we are somehow in position to draft him it is a no brainer. 6’ 5”, 318#, powerful, quick, HEAVY hands, tough, and plays NASTY.

He is both the irresistible force and the immovable object.

Perfect Alpha Male in rotation with JJ/Tillery.

        Give Joey some help.

the book (so far) on QB, reads that Herbert is a ? under pressure, and that there are ?s re: Eason's pocket presence ??

word also has it that Burrow is near "fearless" throwing under pressure, and that Jake Fromm has good composure and can handle pressure ??

Tua had a coupla few rougher than not outings, but thinking the prescient peoples are well attributing that to an ankle injury ??

and personally see Brown as top three, behind Burrow and Chase Young, and.... hoping he goes top 20.

don' think there's any Oline better than Derrick, albeit hoping that receivers aplenty, some OTs, @least a coupla few QBs and/or DEs, and maybe even Isaiah Simmons help push Brown down the board (to us) ??
5/11 Fuaga, 37 Kamari Lassiter, 40 Sinnott, 67 Bralen Trice, 69 Cedric Gray, 105 Jaylen Wright, 110 Braelon Allen, 140 Joe Milton, 181 Khristian Boyd, Tylan Grable, 225 Daijun Edwards, 253 Miyan Williams

Which specific OTs do you like so far this year, Sir ?
            It seems like other years.
            They come in all flavors.
If Pat Meyer is out, that is going to really alter my thinking.
This morning, I had the idea of drafting Wirfs,
            and signing Scherff.

I like him a lot. I like what he does when under duress. I think he will be a pocket type guy who can run. And make plays with his legs. And would add another element to our offense like RPO/s.

Agree. As I've said before, I like him better than Herbert and Tua. Id trade up for him.

Joe Burrow #1 overall in draft ?

                        Nobody said #1 overall.
We'll see where things are at in February but I'd trade up for him if we are picking lower than where he should go.
Hopefully Miami falls in love with Tua and the Bengals fall in love with Herbert.

All three offer first round traits and I’d be excited to have any of them.
its natural to have favorites but I really think each players success is going to depend on their respective pro OC.
                          G-Ro knows.
