2020 Draft Prospect Discussion

will disagree again, as not sure how "talent" serves you, unless 'tis unto the win/loss column ??

and as Nagy referred to "bpa" and @least speaking for myself, that is the player that is most going to help my team win.... Simmons nor Brown are that guy this year for our team.

an OT makes the biggest diff in the win/loss column, and again.... @least as far as eye know/reca!! ??

ps. will take the either of Wirfs/Thomas all day over Isaiah/Derrick.

no doubt that Simmons could well be our missing link on D, and Brown coulda, woulda, shoulda been the guy to take our D over the hump (on a PR led SB run, and....)

Isn’t that definition the exact opposite of BPA ... isn’t that PON? I’m not a purist on BPA or bust like some here - depends on what you already have on your team and what you need. An ugly over-reach is bad, but pure BPA you can’t use also would be futile. If you have Mahomey signed for 5 yrs, you don’t use your #1 on QB If thats BPA (for ex).

202 LAC: We don’t have much in the LB group, Simmons would be PON and BPA. IDT was PON, but less now with the FA signing and DB is generally not considered as “best” as Simmons. LOT could be PON and also BPA - not sure how to rate great tackle vs great LB on the “best” scale. Think we have to cross CB off of PON with Harris signing (Okudah), who could be BPA if still there.

Ideal situation is the BPA is a PON. I see the combination of BPA + PON pointing to LAC doing one of 3 things currently:

1. QB - either move up big for Tua or Herbert at 6?
2. Simmons
3. OT (not sure which they would favor)
