I have a crush on Evan Weaver. Im not saying he will be Luke Keuchly. But he is a really good and smart football player. To be his size and be able to cover is a huge asset. I like his potential at the next level. I think he can be what Brian Cushing was supposed to be in the NFL. A studly presence in the middle of the field but dependable.

Great kid, Uber high football IQ, tremendous instincts, great production. I doubt we spend a top 75 pick at the LB position but like his tape. I’ll be interested in his metrics as I think he tests pretty well.

Yeah i wasn't quite suggesting we draft him but i will typically fall in love with players that i dont think we will draft. lol McCaffrey. Mahomes. Do i think a legit 3 down MLB can be built around? I do. I know we use a lot of guys across the board at the LB position but i think he could be a Hightower type for a defense like ours. Inside. Pass rush. Just a defensive stalwart. Id love to have him but i agree i dont think we use a high pick on a LB. Has to be trenches at this point but you never know with TT.

Maybe not but Perrymans contract for 2020 will be a high cap hit so he can be cut he they feel he can't stay healthy enough.. which he can't.
However without considering free agency we all know we need a CB, OT, Pass rusher, WR and a TE...I'd even throw in a OC.
And then there's Rivers replacement to groom unless they gonna wait til 2021. I just don't see Stick as that guy.

So if we draft top 10....do we target a QB?

Right now, I believe the Chargers would draft 9th.

I think we should. Even if we trade up it wouldn't cost as much as trading up from 28 ish being a playoff team.
I'm liking Joe Burrow from LSU but don't know what year he is in there to be eligible. Intriqueing prospect that I've only caught on to this year.

Tua just don't excite me. His WRs always seem wide open when he throws deep which makes him look better.

Not a big fan of Herbert either but there are others.

If TT’s guy is there. Absolutely. Rivers is nearing the end.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

eye too had eyes for Evan Weaver, and.... apparently he got "owned" by Jacob Breeland against Oregon ??

may be leaning FA Jon Bostic @backup MLB ?? as don't think they're letting Denzel depart ??

also not sure we don't already have 5 CBs w/Teamer, 4 OTs w/Lamp, 2 pass rushers w/Mel 'n Uchenna, and the three TEs ??

and not convinced they show the either of Tyrod nor Easton the door before next season ??

still thinkin' we select somewhere in the later teens next draft, and yes.... we need an OC & WR, along w/RB and NT.... me thinx ?? (QB in 2021 is my guess ?)

will also add that eye like Herbert, albeit think he comes w/a ? or coupla few, and.... not overly fond of him, 'specially as a Charger, and suspect that Fromm is the safer pick as reports he can "see" the field, one of the more valuable traits of any (NFL) QB.
