The Cards move up and the Chargers move to #7 in the draft.

Giants have the Eagles, the Dolphins are going up to Foxboro, and the Colts will face the Jags...I would say even if the Giants or Fins won, they win tiebreaker with worse SOS...and the Jags will probably lose....I would say that 7 is pretty solid slotting for when we will pick.

The 7th pick in the draft. I would absolutely not have believed this was possible if Rivers started every game. It looks like 6th is the highest we can pick so it will be interesting to see which way we go - QB or offensive line. Maybe they go BPA and surprise us all.

The Jaguars have the Colts at home next week. The Strength of Schedule will make it difficult to leap to get down to 4 or 5, even if the Giants (play Eagles) and Dolphins (play NE). So it looks like #6 is possible earliest draft position.

Yea....it's called training. Some guys can put on some weight, but it takes time to get that twitchy quickness back with the extra weight, and some can't manage it....and some can. There are plenty of fast 230 lb LBs in this leaque...I'm pretty sure that is the goal with Kyzir.

Okay. Tell me one who started at 218 lbs coming out of college, and regained his speed 15-20 lbs heavier.

I agree that #7 overall is the most likely, but I think Jacksonville at least has a realistic chance at home against the Colts, which is the only scenario I see that would get us to #6 overall. You are right about us not being able leap past the Giants or Dolphins as our SOS cannot get below the SOS of either of those teams. With a win tonight, the Chiefs will have a mathematical chance at the #2 seed next weekend (win plus unlikely Patriots loss to Dolphins) and will have plenty to play for against us.
