Total stud at Utah. He murdered SDSU single-handed. 3TDs, 3 INTs in one game. He was a better than good / less than great S in the NFL, he thought because he was the best safety on the Chargers he was the best safety in the NFL. He never was. Chargers gave him a very good 2nd contract and paid it out 100%, and he turned total bitch boy at the end. I don’t buy the story that the Chargers did him wrong before he did them wrong. I appreciate his passion, sweat and bruises in trying to make the Chargers a Super Bowl team.
What is the point of being a Charger fan if all that is amended because he had a parting spat with management?
Sure, i wish he left with a stiff upper lip; but it didn't happen that way....its not going to stop me from being a fan.
No affiliation by city, no affiliation by players, no affiliation by winning ......that only leaves affiliation for the organizational structure and Spanos.
