The San Diego Chargers made a trio of moves Monday morning, signing guard Vi Teofilo to a three-year contract while waiving guard Sebastian Johansson and waiving/injured linebacker Brock Hekking.
2 cut 1 signed.....wonder if Mettenberger might be added. He has ties to Whiz.

Speaking of Mettenberger, maybe the Donkos sign him?:
Mark Sanchez to have thumb surgery, miss some OTA time
Any advantage Mark Sanchez has in being the Broncos starting quarterback is going to be negated by the fact he’s not going to be ready to start OTAs.
According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos will be without Sanchez next week, after he needed surgery to repair a thumb injury.
Sanchez apparently tore a ligament in his left (non-throwing) thumb during a workout in the team’s weight room last week. He had a procedure Saturday to fix it, but is expected to be out at least a week.
Without Sanchez out there, it creates more reps for second-year quarterback Trevor Siemian and first-round pick Paxton Lynch, along with more reason for concern. If it’s not a long recovery, it shouldn’t change the overall face of the competition, as Sanchez is the only experienced candidate.
