I think Peterson and Wilkerson were out there for a first rounder and no one bit.....next years first could be steep. We could still get a rush OLB in this draft to go with Ingram, Attouchu and Tourek. Having Wilkerson, Carethers and Liuget with Lissemore and Ricardo Mathews rotating in would be sweet. Reyes could manage the gatorade cups and aim the fans.
Forget it Donny you're out of your element

    Shut the fuck up Donny

Reyes and a 3rd this year?

For pass rush, we could always call Sea about Irvin. They declined to pick up his fifth year option.

To start I misread your comment as 1st or 2nd round picks. Regardless this argument is poor at best. For one you can apply it to almost every postion except QB. Also, in recent years RB's have fallen out of the first round to the second, but the top RB's in almost every draft class produce. Also, every draft is different. The two RB's in this draft were much more highly regarded than most in the past few years. If we didn't take Gordon he would have gone to someone later in the first.

          Peterson
          Bell
          Mccoy
          Charles
          Lacy

All these guys are early draft picks at the top of their draft class. And if you look for some rankings of top 5 RB's in 2015, it will look very very similar.

You can absolutely pick up RB's later that can be good. Your hit rate goes down but that goes with every single position. I would be willing to bet that draft position to production correlation for the RB position has one of the highest or the highest of all positions in football.

Post from early January. Gordon in the first, ILB in the second. Nice.

I think upset is a good word for this draft. Draft grade: U

I'm giving the 2012 draft a C-. Got some starters - just not any good starters. Melvin Ingram might still be a star if he can stay healthy.

If you're asking for a grade for the draft that ended today, you will need to wait 3 or 4 years.

Here's the rushing yardage leaders for 2014:

And what is that....only Lynch and Ingram in the top 18!

Guess I was right after all.
Well there has to be some first rounders picked to be any on the list and Peterson played one game last year. There has only been in the last 4 years and and David Wilson already had a career ending injury and Doug Martin has been injured since his rookie season.
Of course there were 3 in 2010 and Best is already out of the league with his concussions and then Mathews and Spiller who never carried the load for Buffalo, splitting carries with Fred Jackson.
