If we can get him for 3 years,
I would do it for Herb.

Put it on my charge account.
We do not play modern football.

It’s risky, but outside of injury, I don’t see how this doesn’t stabilize our biggest area of need.
And I’m STILL drafting OL at 13! Ha
          G-Ro knows.

Day 1 starting tackle yes...starting guard no! Otherwise draft playmaker like CB or WR if available. move down and get some more picks if possible if none of the above.

If there is an OG ranked like Zach Martin - than OG is fine. Guy has been a very good player since he came into the league. I just don't think there is a Martin, unless its AVT, projected to be in the teens for the draft

I do agree don't reach for OT at 13 if the grade doesn't fit the pick.

                Fisher released by the Chiefs
torn Achilles so probably out all this year or most of it
I wonder which team will offer him the veteran minimum to be on their IR with the chance to return - no bonus money. Just the veteran minimum.

Not saying the Chargers should but before he was injured heckuva player. Could slide into RT in 2022 depending on how Bulaga players.

I want HC Staley, OC Lombardi, OL coaches Smith & Sarett to do the OL grading. TT & JS have struggled at OL evaluation. I don't give a damn what team outsiders think.

                    Damn Right!!

This draft is going to be different because the lack of combine, maybe less meetings in person - have to go by the tape. I don't care about mockers - you make a valid point - I think I trust Staley and his staff to help Telesco more than the two previous staffs that worked with TommyT and JohnBoy Spanos. Somebody called him a football savant; others called hima football nerd. Whatever.. I think he has a friggin clue

I read many posts in TPB that have high hopes because of the new HC and his new staff. I think we all need to remember that we've had first time HC's in the past and it's not usually a recipe for a quick turn around.

True..i think its just we have a seemingly different type of HC this time who took a defense as a first time DC and made it number 1 . Hope for the best.

Staley is a tactician not a scout. His staff is was not hired to explore the talent around the league/draft. Yes, obviously their opinion matters and I'm sure Telesco will get a gauge from them, but lets not get carried away and think just because we hired these guys doesn't mean they will fix all of our problems. let coach be the coach and the GM do the GM.
