I'm not happy with the T Johnson cut. If he had character issues, work with him. He's young, big, fast, and had zero drops last year (I think). Also his first three catches were for 150 yards. He was a good deep threat for our new QB with a rocket arm.

Perhaps they tried to work with him throughout camp and it fell on deaf ears. It's all speculation at this point. He will either be elsewhere or on our practice squad and get an opportunity at some point during the season. Next.

The more speed on the field spreads defense out, and opens things up for great route runners like KA...... also gives him single coverage which he eats up.......

Remove speed, and field gets smaller with DB's much closer to KA, MW, EK..... etc......

receivers with quickness and speed also get open quicker..... which helps the OL and QB....

a strong armed QB like Herbie can fire a bullet into smaller openings.......less time in air...less time for defense to react....

Rams took Tutu and Hawks took Eskridge in round 2 so I echo your sentiment 2 fold.

Cutting Brannon doesn’t make sense. He was the INTs leader in training camp and had one in preseason. And he was very good on STs as well.

Touchbacks should be a regular thing with Vizcaino. That's one crucial element of he special teams overhaul.

I wish Vizcaino had won the field goal kicking competition more decisively, though.

Consistent touchbacks every game would be such a luxury, it would help reduce the constant cringing we are usually subjected to on kickoffs.

I'm guessing he clears waivers and works on his game on the practice squad and will eventually see time on the roster. Stealing mentioned he had some very good moments but he was still very raw and had a lot to work on.

For me it's cutting Johnson for Hill. Hill has not shown to be a good return guy and he hasn't shown that much as a WR where Johnson has.

It will be interesting to see the waiver wire moves and anything Telesco does. I think he will make two moves.
