Staley said the Johnson cut was tough.
Pipkins is a work in progress, going to hang with him.
Covid had very little to do with the 3 QBs retained.
Really wants the back end DBs for the ST's
Reciever room was very competitive.
Needed a bigger guy in the middle, so Broughton lost out on that.
Saw Amen O as a leader, was almost ready for the first team, liked his size and length of arms.
Storm Norton was a good story for him. Likes Nabors as a core Teamer.
This week is to concentrate on the Chargers, vs. WFT.

Daniel Jeremiah tweeted about how DBs are a premium in the NFL. If the Chargers feel like they have good depth - especially can be used on ST - I guess it makes sense to keep an extra DB over say the 6th WR. I still am not sure why Tyron Johnson was released but just going to go with Staley and hope they have it right. Plus other teams need DB help - Cardinals today are without Malcolm Butler who decided to retire - he was big signing for them

I do know that fixing Special Teams and the OL were my two personal highest priorities. That doesn't mean other areas of the team can take a step back but if the Chargers can just get middle of the pack rankings - would be huge for the team. Special Teams has been a buggaboo for so many years - glad there is a focus.

Only think about the Staley presser -0- its fine what he said about Pip but I still hope Telesco is vieweing the waiver wire right now.
