Not a bad point at all, when you consider all the injuries, especially concussions, caused by high-speed collisions when a returner is tackled...then some of those concussions years later resulting in chronic traumatic encephalopathy...and the victims of this condition in many cases cause harm, including death, to themselves and others...yes, indeed, LIVES SAVED BY TOUCHBACKS MATTER!!!

Well Gee, lets put flags on them and save more lives. Touchbacks also limit a need for a KR.

The Los Angeles Chargers have activated cornerback Ryan Smith from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Friday. In correspondence, defensive back Kemon Hall was waived.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Touchbacks definitely help preserve the health of depth players. And depth may be the kryptonite of our team. I’d be a happy camper if Vizzy booted every single KO through the EZ.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

It won’t be long before KR becomes almost obsolete. Much more important these days to have a quality PR, which we don’t.

Its amazing how many other teams have found kicker that can make a decent amount of FGs as well as kick the ball through the end zone and the Chargers can't have a guy do either.

I hope Vizcaino has the leg to make kickoffs boring - through the back of the end and makes a better % of Field Goals

It’s why prime Darren Sproles was one of the most impactful players in franchise history. He did so many different things when he was here as a 3 down RB.

Idk if the NFL has ever seen a player like him again.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

                    - 69-74 record
                    - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                    - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
                    - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
                    - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                    - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                    - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

I've been watching some college games and see they all have a kicker that kicks it out of the end zone. They also have been kickers that have made the FG attempts. The Oklahoma kicker made a 51 yarder - right down the middle and then kicked off out of the EZ.

So why can't the Bolts find a reliable kicker?

They have. They just keep cutting them. Koo was a pro bowler last season
