22 backups
4 specialists - K, P, LS, KR/PR
4 special team professionals

T Billy didn't fit. He would have with one less OL, TE or RB.

Would love to have a better KR/PR.

At the old UT forum, there was a real ball buster like that...years later, LA Times, I ran into Trumpet Man, and thought it was him...except I saw some reasonable posting from him at LA Times...I think rather it was a guy who often allied with him in the AJ Smith SD UT forum wars...which got pretty ugly at times...but not sure...maybe Trumpie just reminded me of that pro AJ block...

Remember how Silly and Kemp had a flame war going that finally drove Kemp away? Ah, good times...

Several of us met him at a game we pre-arranged to tailgate together at. (we were all out-of-town fans) He wasn't invited but had set up shop near us and so we all met him. I'll let it go at this, he was a character.

This makes me realize how fast the years have flown by.

They have flown by. I can recall pretty much the time I started posting at the UT SD forum - it was under Marty - the year they lost to the Jets in the playoffs on that rainy night in San Diego
so 2003/2004.

Highest: RB Larry Rountree III, 77.6
Lowest: TE Trey’ McKitty, 44.9

While he has a massive log jam to playing time, Rountree was impressive enough on his 22 carries this preseason to make the Chargers' final 53. He broke six tackles on those carries and averaged 3.6 yards after contact per attempt.

Not a good start for McKitty, and this supports many of fans' criticisms of the pick. Maybe he develops under this coaching staff though.

The lawyer from Arizona that had to have a NT in the 1st round? And destroyed every thread with the same repetitive stuff? Yeah, I remember him.

I totally remember that he was screaming that we draft drive Louis Nix III in the first round.

They have one thing in common.... they're both lawyers, go figure.

Does PFF take into TE blocking because that’s all he’s been used for?

Also it’s preseason. Ryan Leaf probably would have a high score now based on his rookie play in preseason.

Oh the good old UT San Diego Forums - - I got locked out a couple years ago but Forrest Overrin is still there I think, not too many others. The Padres forum is still doing okay

Chargers have 12 players on the PS
Are allowed up to 16 so Merrill should be able to be added without releasing a player
Only release a player I would think to save a bit of cash and cap.
