They are better rating guys in space than in systems, and generally the further from the center the better they are. Seeing if a WR is doing his job is pretty easy. OT blocking on an island? Easy.

IOL and IDL have a lot of moving parts in the systems and their graders really seem to struggle understanding possible assignments. Same with secondary sometimes.

      How did it rate Jaimes?
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

      - 69-74 record
      - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
      - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
      - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
      - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
      - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
      - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Had him as the 3rd worst offensive players for the Chargers. Pipkins and Norton were rated higher. Score was like a 50 if I remember correctly.

If you watch Norton carefully, he was getting pushed back on just about every pass pro rep...looked like he allowed a few hurries also...and mind you, this is vs. the Rams 2nd and 3rd stringers...Slater looked a LOT better in pass pro...

Slater was PFF’s top ranked rookie in pass pro, so they agree with your eyes there. Jaimes was the one they were critical of in their ranking for no reason that I saw. I fully agree with what you saw Topcat.

Austin Gayle Tweeted a gasp yesterday upon seeing vs Rams Jaimes vid.
We do not play modern football.

Norton sucks. I hope both him and Pipkins aren’t on the team for this season but that’s unlikely.

Are you suggesting we scan the waiver wire for our backup tackles? Cuz both those guys are better than the guys behind them.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

                      Yes waive wire.

                        Nice dream, but not likely.

OL depth is definitely concerning.Could have drafted Ten OG Smith rather then the Iowa LB.
Maybe could of brought back tevi just to compete
                          Dosen't matter now.
