Well, when one HC has won 6 Superbowls and has a strong track record going back to the 80's, his decisions as a whole will be given more leeway.

The other hasn't had a defense ranked in the top 20 during his time as a HC and coached one of the worst collapses in playoff history and sometimes seems more like a liability to his team that has to be overcome than an asset. He's going to get more criticism because of his body of work looks nothing like Belichick's.

If it is a bad decision, it is a bad decision no matter which coach does it. And I say that while thinking Belichick is the best HC in NFL history.

That's debatable (I think Bill Walsh is), but Belichick received most of that criticism when he went for a fourth-and-two late in a game against the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning, in 2009, when the Patriots' defense couldn't stop them up to that point. Staley made these decisions against Jacoby Brissett and Kirk Cousins. There's a difference.

Belichick has done the same, failed and lost games because of it.

As I recall Belichick did try it for awhile..but realized it's not good. He does not do it anymore. He "tried" it.

Staley on the other-hand...he thinks in terms of social media hits/views. Actually...I am not sure what he thinks...we have a child in charge of men.

Lol. I doubt he was getting fired if we went 0-3. This ownership could have fired Norv and McCoy a few times during the season and didn't do it, so I doubt they'll fire Staley until the season is over (if they even do it then).

There will definitely be some more mind numbing decisions this season from Staley. I have no doubt in that.

It was just an odd sequence of plays

first down - aggressive - to move the chains

next first down - run the ball
second down, run the ball
third down - try to get the first down and almost got it with the pass
4th down - run the ball

three runs for basically no yards
two passes for 23 yards

pass the damn ball!
