Our Oline is improved and Woodhead will be back with Oliver, all TT needs to do is add. A Strong RB in the draft and we are set there....so F Acee
I think Robinson is an upgrade to Wright. He hasnt been consistant but when he is good he is much better than Wright.

Chargers would have won the AFC West last year if not for injuries.

Current OL still not as good as healthy OL last year, but it's better than the OL they put out on the field last year.

You can go through many position groups and say the exact same thing about them as well.
      Prediction:
      Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Interestingly, most post-FA rankings are giving us Bs. But I get it, it's March. It's when Den60ism is at it's peak. It usually dies out by Oct, not to be heard from until season-end.

I would love to start seeing these media clowns go back and re-grade all the various FA classes from 3 or 4 years ago. They are all hyped up about making major impacts and big splashes in FA, but the fact is that FA signings are mostly very temporary band aid type fixes that are only a couple year deal. Ask a Redskin fan how all the big impact FA they signed since Snyder took over? Always got high grades for being aggressive, never worked out, and usually failed spectacularly.

Also, people seem to neglect that we had a great FA period. We just don't seem to get points for resigning guys like Flowers and Dunlap, who we would be lost without.

Dunlap was the ONLY LT in FA this year. There were a couple of swing guys who maybe kinda could have played there in pinch. But we HAD to get him and we did, and without overpaying, which almost certainly would have happened had he hit the open market. So, that is a much bigger win that most have made it out. Sure, it is not an upgrade, but had we not made that move, we would have been hurting. There is only 1 or 2 guys who appear to be true LT in this draft class, so drafting a 1st round starting LT is probably not going to happen.

Same with Flowers, really the only top CB in FA out there, we got him, and 2nd best FA CB is a big drop off.

We signed one of only a couple of top OL. In truth, there was not much help out there to be had among the OL. There were a lot of older retreads, who are probably not going to see the end of their contracts. We got a good, young OG who will likely see the end of his deal, and could play at a high level. And since he is going to play in a similar scheme, with similar terminology for a coach he has played for, the chances are better then average that we will get someone who can help us. Somewhat of a risky signing, but you have to give it the nod because of the history of coach and player.

This was not a good FA class, and you were never going to make major improvements on a roster. I just don't think you can rebuild a roster with FA, it doesn't work. Denver spent scandalous amounts of money last year and they were not as good as the year before, despite all the "A" grades. Now they have issues in how long they can keep the players that they have and will probably suck balls (given their new HC track record). And they are much worse off for the players they were unable to sign.

Yeah Steve Steve you did an excellent breakdown last year of the Broncos free-agent acquisitions ...basically demonstrating that it was a wash from the year before

If you're frustrated with our free agents go look at what Pittsburgh did
Forget it Donny you're out of your element

You guys are all missing the point: Acee knows and understands football so much better than the clowns running the team, they obviously don't know what they're doing cuz they didn't do what Acee thinks they should have done, whatever that is. Oip understands.

Actually Acee's real point is this: you can't be a genius Chargers GM unless you allow Acee full access to all things Chargers; anything less and you're a bad GM.

So far there has been improvement at LG and Returner. With 4 spots on the OL needing improvement there has been 1. RB is a downgrade right now. WR is unknown. TE has the top 2 in the last year of their contract. DL, probably the biggest need other than pass rush has seen no improvement. LBs must be great to tell the best LB on last years team that his services are no longer needed. And the secondary is a wash.

And the franchise player says he won't sign an extension.

Tommy T's push year is off to a great start.
Well for fuck sakes. I didnt know the offseason was already over. Shit that went by quick. TT,... OIP wants you to resign 35 year old Dwight Freeney because he thinks we should address the pass rush right fucking now.

I dont know what you expect dude. If we get another RG id say the OL is alot better than last year. Watt is a second year player and they say he is making good strides at OC. Who are you to say he isnt gong to work out there? They think he will so maybe two OL positions are handled already. Obviously you are counting Fluker as one of those upgrades we need. I think if he is healthy and we get a better RG, he will be fine. Franklin can also play there. We need depth at LT though.

ZZZZZZingggg. Remember when he was so outraged about the Freeney signing to begin with?

It wouldn't matter what they did. The Aloof Contrarian(TM) has all of the answers and no one else does.
