I thought Oliver showed he could be a good back when he had some blocking. While I wouldn't mind adding a RB, I think the guys we have are more then good enough. OL, DL and OLB..... not so much. We could also use a TE who can block.
With the 17th pick, the SD Chargers select ...

TE who can block may have to come from FA or roster cuts. This is a terrible TE class for receiving, and blocking TEs are going the way of FB in college football. There aren't a lot of them out there. Use the pick elsewhere and go UDFA or FA.Originally posted by Steve View PostI thought Oliver showed he could be a good back when he had some blocking. Not sure I understand that one. They already ditched Marshall, and opened a need at WR. bennet was very productive last year, although he is perennially injured. That would open another hole in a terrible TE draft class.Originally posted by Stinky Wizzleteats+ View PostBears taking offers for Martellus Bennet..

I don't see that happening...They have all that cash invested in Gerhart, And they just picked up Bernard Pierce ...Along with Denard Robinson having a nice little streak and showing promise....I can't see them stacking up in the RB departmentOriginally posted by chargerkdb View PostAgain no link but have heard Jags if they stay put at 3 may take Gurley. Just local speculation, everyone here either Falcons or jags fansLast edited by Sec-E4; 04-29-2015, 04:40 PM.

You are aware that teams play mind games and act as if they want a certain player and the Booooom...They do a complete 180 and pick a player that they never mentioned. So I take any rumors with a grain of salt. Well unless you have a such a good and almost guaranteed Talent at the #1 pick like Elway or Manning was. That or a team passes on that talent because they already have an all pro at that position, So they pick a position in need, And or trade downOriginally posted by chargerkdb View PostI'm deep in GA Bulldawg territory. Take it for what it's worth but local radio stating that one team ( not named ) stated that They rate Gurley as best player in draft and is at the top of their board. Also mentioned there he won't get past Miami at 14 if he slips. Again take it for what it's worth.
If a certain player isn't there at pick #17, Do you guys think TT would trade down ?Last edited by Sec-E4; 04-29-2015, 04:53 PM.

Perhaps, but doubtful. I am sure he has a cluster of players under consideration.Originally posted by Sec-E4 View PostYou are aware that teams play mind games and act as if they want a certain player and the Booooom...They do a complete 180 and pick a player that they never mentioned. That is one season. Several of the aforementioned have well documented injury histories, including all the way back in college.
