IMO if the RBs are gone they'll go pass rush. There are a lot of good guards this year to be had later. Jamil Douglas being my favorite

Except that the draft has almost no OT who are any better at pass blocking then Fluker is. All the OT being mentioned all are RT types who need work in pass protection. I don't think this draft has any rookies who could step in and upgrade over Fluker. The top of the draft is pretty OT weak. THey have promise, just may take a couple of years.Originally posted by TTK View PostI wouldn't be shocked if they take an OT at #17 if the RBs are gone. You can kick Fluker inside and upgrade two positions at once.
If they pick a CB in the 2nd, I'll hate that pick though.

I forgot who I was listening to on the radio but someone suggested the OT scenario. In that case, I hope it's pass rush or d-line.Originally posted by Steve View PostExcept that the draft has almost no OT who are any better at pass blocking then Fluker is. I like Duke Johnson & Ameer Abdullah style of running and would love to have him for our 2nd round pick if he's still there....I think they would be a steal if we could use our #1 for a pass rusher Lb or DE, depending on who's there.
Since we already have Woody & Oliver with their styles...I'd want a Eddie Lacy type back to complement the guys we already have. I don't see a point of having a position with a bunch of dudes with Simliar skills/Style. I personally don't see a #1 pick worth for Gordon and Gurley. Unless they fit into what MM's goal is.Last edited by Sec-E4; 04-28-2015, 01:29 PM.

How is the 1st round pick not a RB if one of those two dudes in available?Prediction:
Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

By virtue of RB not being a primary need. We have Oliver, Brown and Woodhead, plus we can still add a solid back later. I'm not saying it won't be them, but I think it is fairly low on the need scale.
