Yes, me too. A couple guys on another Charger board said he wasnt very good a while back and one called him garbage so i watched numerous video of him and i dont know what the fuck they are talking about. He lunges sometime but i think he is a good player who could be a star with coach D. I really wanted us to get him in the 3rd. Much more mobile than Troutman while being as big and gets to the second level well.

Many in this board advocated Tre Jackson as high as the second round. It appears that 32 NFL Gms disagree. Perhaps it is a case that he was over-mocked in a lot of instances. Personally, an am not big on him. His play was much better as a junior, and I thought his line mate Mathias played better this season.

Im just annoyed personally because i put all my studies into the positions i had no doubt we would be taking. OL/OLB/RB/WR/DT. I really didnt think we would go CB high. Definitely not ILB.

Agree with those 3 needs, but if our starters at those positions can stay healthy = improvement. We had no potentially high quality players at RB, thumper ILB, or nickel hybrid safety/corner. This draft made the team better for years to come (again, health inclusive).

I had RB/OLB/DT or DE as my top 3 positions of need (and you can never have enough olinemen either), but us posters almost never know what the team thinks it needs - clearly the case here.
