There has to be a RG coming in free agency, maybe a June cut. We could always shop the 2016 4th rounder in a trade. You know we won't be using it anyway

That should bring a decent starter. I'd be up for that in a minute.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I call bullshit. We will be using that pick in a trade up next year.

I'd give it C+. Filled a need with a Top 2 RB with the most important pick, and then "huh??!!!"

Granted, I'm a fan with no expertise in this subject, and nobody should be giving out a draft grade for at least one-two years. Given that, my grade is just as valid as any "expert"'s out there.
          Prediction:
          Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

            2012 Grade
            Round Selection Player Position College
1 18 Melvin Ingram Defensive End South Carolina
2 49 Kendall Reyes Defensive Tackle UConn
3 78 Brandon Taylor Safety LSU
            4 110 Ladarius Green Tight end Louisiana-Lafayette
5 149 Johnnie Troutman Guard Penn St.
7 226 David Molk Center Michigan
7 250 [a] Edwin Baker Running back Michigan St.

Grade: D+/C- : Ingram can be a star in this league (if healthy). Reyes starts, but is a big negative. Troutman is just a (bad) guy, and Green has shown flashes but is not used much. Rest are garbage. WTF happened to Brandon Taylor anyways?

            THANKS AJ.

Yeah, grades on the players need to be done in 3 yrs, when they are up on their rookie deals. I think TT and the team did pretty well if they wanted to get players that can tackle well, and provide impact in the running game. Did they take the best players to their highest needs? I don't know, but the team better think that they did.

That 2012 class seemed so promising in the beginning but after three years, it's a dud.

From NFL.com picks they like by rounds. http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/0ap3000000490538/article/best-and-most-worrisome-picks-of-the-2015-nfl-draft ____First round: Melvin Gordon, RB, drafted 15th overall by the San Diego Chargers. It was cool to see two running backs go in the first round, especially with the Chargers trading up slightly to snag Gordon. Todd Gurley -- who went to the Rams at No. 10 -- might look more impressive, but the acquisition of Gordon should really hit the spot for Philip Rivers and Co. __Fifth round: Kyle Emanuel, OLB, drafted 153rd overall by the San Diego Chargers. San Diego grabbed itself another hitter to team with Denzel Perryman at linebacker. My colleague Daniel Jeremiah thought those two were among the hardest hitters in the draft. Emanuel should be impactful on special teams.

Actually, you won't have to wait three years to get a general idea of this draft by the Chargers. It all hinges on Gordon being an elite back that makes a big impact immediately. If he struggles the draft grade plummets.

Quick scan or 4th years on Charger roster says "No", but not looking into very much detail either. http://www.chargers.com/team/roster
